Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Battle Creek

The manager working today made our food. She made it incorrectly. My husband called and she would not take his word for it. She demanded that he drive across town to bring it back so she could see it. He explained that we live far away and asked if he could send in a pic or something. She would not allow that. She was not willing to rectify this unless we drive across town to bring it back. Very poor customer service today. The staff were talking about being night owls and dropping the f-bomb frequently. The menus were not lit up because apparently they have raised their prices and the menus don’t reflect the new prices. I ordered a cauliflower crust pizza. I’m not sure I got that but whatever. When my husband asked about it, the manager said, “well, I didn’t charge you extra for it anyway.” When we first started going here when they opened, the owner seemed very nice. She was there every-time we came in. Never had an issue. She wasn’t there today and she has apparently hired some staff that may need some better training on customer service and service recovery. Cheated me out of money and wouldn’t make it right! Called in and made an order for 2 pizzas and 2 breadsticks and they had a special 1 large 2 topping pizza and cheese bread for $16.99. First i told her i want 1 with pepperoni and the other pepperoni and sausage, she said ok and told me the total was $34.96.i get there to pick it up and she brings me 2 pizzas and 1 cheese bread in which i politely ask about the other cheese bread. she tells me that i didn’t get the deal because i didn’t add another topping i told her all pepperoni was what i said and she told me there was nothing she could do. what i don’t understand is i asked for a manager in which i was told there wasn’t a manager on the clock. but what i can’t understand is if the large 2 topping pizza and breadsticks were $16.99 how was the 1 topping larger no breadstick the same price…very shady place i’d stay farrr away…i love marcos pizza but their customer service was horrible. If you absolutley have to go there i’d get help from an employee named Jake as he tried to help, the other person working...

I called 8/14/2023 @ 4:30 pm waited on the phone 10 minutes before anyone answered the guy told me he could charge me extra for delivery cause I live on Wagner road i was ok with that then the manager told the cashier on the phone she’s not doing that she doesn’t feel like it and I heard it 👎🏽 Dr. and Mrs. Robinson are wonderful people but the manager on shift just caused me to never ever eat from the establishment again!! Until today Marcos was my favorite and cleanest place to eat from. After today I feel You could get better respect and customer service...
