Uncle Dog's — Restaurant in Battle Creek

I had the catfish basket with mac n cheese on the side. It was pretty alright, not spectacular, but these guys know how to cook good food.

Overall menu selection is good. The name implies hot dogs and while they're among them, with a number of variations, it's nice that it's not the only thing offered. Service is quick & friendly enough. The only thing holding them back is their location. There's too many other choices in half a mile to a mile from them. Too many other big & more established places, like Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Burger King, Little Caesar's, Long John Silver's, Popeye's Chicken and those are just the one's in short walking distance of this place that are well-known. I found Uncle Dogs by chance, was welcomed as I entered and ordered a couple coneys and fries. While waiting for my order the owner struck up a pleasant conversation with me and informed me that most everyone working there are family. His son was making my food and asked me a couple questions to be sure my order came out the way I wanted which I really appreciated. The food was beyond expectations and delicious. The dogs were hearty, filling and tasted great. I wish I would have asked which brand they use in hindsight. If you haven't tried this place yet you are making a big mistake. I will be back on my next trip through town. Keep up the great work!...

We tried mac and cheese dog a must have, coney dog was good, and my granddaughter loved their broccoli and cheese dog I tried the broccoli and it was so delicious. We will definitely be back. A must try place. The customer service from the cook, the lady behind the counter and the man that took our order and explained the whole menu was exceptional!! Great job I don't live in battle creek but will be back if i ever come through. I don't have any pics of the food too...
