Cerveza Factory Battle Ground, WA When this establishment was being built in our city, we followed all the negative media about the father of the daughter that owns this restaurant. The issues about him being charged with drugging and raping a woman along with other restaurant workers. Since it was the father and not the daughter. We decided to give it fair shake. You can look at our previous posts and see that we were making the argument to give the daughter a fair shake at her business in our city. So, before anyone says we are just being X (X=INSERT YOUR NEGATIVE TERM). Do look at our history and see for yourself. On to our review. We went to the grand opening and the food was great. The service was prompt and people were friendly. Much better than the “other” establishment in town. So, we decided to try them again. The next time was “to-go” with the same dishes we ordered at the grand opening. My Fajitas were cold and nearly half portion of what we received the first time (still filling though). Plus, it had flour instead of corn tortillas. The wife’s street Taco’s (Steak and Shrimp without Chipotle Mayo w/The Works) were incorrect. They left the Mayo on and excluded The Works. This soured us a little, so it was awhile before we tried them again. The third time was “to-go” with different dishes (Arroz con Pollo & Cast Iron Burrito w/The Works). The food was cold and the flavor was seriously lacking. At this point, we thought maybe it’s just the “to-go” orders. We decided we would give them one more shot, at some point in the future. This last time (THE LAST TIME), we decided to sit down and have dinner (tonight). We sat at an outside table and ordered the exact same dishes as we had the first and second time. My Fajita’s came with flour Tortillas once again (specified corn as always). The wife’s Burrito was once again lacking in flavor and cold. We ordered the Jalapeno Poppers as an appetizer. Which came out burnt (dark brown and like a potato chip). We only tried the one (filling had been boiled out). To add insult to injury, let me explain the dinner setting. We sat down at a table on the outer row (where the cars pull in to park). As anyone would expect, a car or two may pull in and park by your table. We don’t mind, as we get to see different folks and it usually generates conversation. Anyhow, a car was already in the spot right in front of our table (A Burgundy SUV). As we started to order, two people walked up the SUV. We thought they were leaving. Well, that was not the case. It was a middle-aged man and older lady. He got in and started the SUV and she sat in the passenger seat. You could tell she had obviously enjoyed “one-too-many”. To our surprise, the guy got back out the car and walked back to a table (at the southern end of the outdoor area). He sat down and was drinking and chatting with 5 others. I was a little put off by this but thought, he is just wrapping it up and is going to be heading out quickly. Well that was not the case. After 10 minutes of this car running directly in front of our table (picture was taken from the seated position at the table), I informed the waiter of the issue and the individual involved. The waiter then relayed that information to another worker and they said they would take care of it. This is when I started to get irritated. We watched, as NOBODY SAID A WORD to the guy for the next 22 minutes. As we were paying the bill, the SUV finally left. The whole time, we sat with a running car, the heat and the vehicles 2 fans running. So, I wanted to take the time to let EVERYONE know that the Cerveza Factory in Battle Ground, WA is NOT WORTH VISITING. The food quality is sub-par, the service is now lacking and the lack of atmosphere makes it painful. Here is hoping it doesn’t last much longer in our town!

Read moreBeen here several times. Food has been great every time. Tasty and generous portions. One of our top five favorites in Vancouver.
Service is usually excellent with no mistakes on the orders and quick service. One time exception this visit, when our bill took forever to come. We waited and waited after we finished eating and boxed leftovers after flagging someone other than our waiter down. Still took too long after that to get the bill. I think our waiter was overloaded when a large group came in. Otherwise, great service all the other times.
One big negative though, that will cause us to visit much less often… A plate that was $22 a few months ago is now $28. And not that long ago it was $19. Plus the drink menus don’t have prices. No big deal, the drinks haven’t been that expensive in the past. Until now. 20 bucks for a margarita. In the past, unless we said otherwise, we’d automatically get the small. They’d always ask if we wanted one of the larger sizes. Not on this visit. A huge “medium” size came, enough for two but only one of us was drinking cuz the other was driving. And as we watched drinks being delivered, it seems everyone was getting the larger size and expressing surprise at how large it was. I don’t know, but seems a bit suspicious that there’s no prices on the menus and now you automatically get a larger size.
With an appetizer, the ridiculously expensive margarita, the huge jump in entree prices, tax and tip… which has also increased since tips are based off these higher prices, it was nearly $120. For lunch. Two entrees, an appetizer and a drink. Had we both got drinks, it would have approached $150. We skipped dessert after waiting too long for the bill, but had we both indulged, then we’d have been closing in on $200. For lunch at what’s supposed to be a moderately priced restaurant.
Maybe ingredient prices are still high from the pandemic, I’m not necessarily blaming the restaurant, except maybe about the drink thing. But with inflation being a problem, we’ve decided not to contribute to it more than necessary. We will be dining out less and using the money to buy a lot more food for our money at the grocery store. $200 goes a long way at Costco and there are lots of fresh or frozen precooked items available. Zap in the microwave and your eating in less time than it takes at...
Read moreWe visited Battle Ground location on the 4th of September 2024 and this was the worst food and service ever. The waitress was kind enough but overall service was horrible 😕 I'd been there about 6-8 weeks before and the food was actually not bad. This time I ordered the cheese enchilada and a chili relleno. The chili relleno was so spicy hot and basically mushy I wouldn't eat it. The pepper itself appeared to be rotten. I told the waitress about it and she offered to exchange it for something else. I accepted her offer, so she took my plate and I waited and I waited..then she brings out a tostada that they replaced it with..missing my whole enchilada which I'd taken one bite out of. The cheese enchilada I'd ordered but was chicken instead. What the heck. By this time my companion was already done with their meal. I brought to waitresses attention and she offered to have them make another plate but I couldn't wait any longer.. Needless to say the beef on the tostada was awful. Taco Bell has better tasting meat..their ground beef is like Ground beef with a packet of not good seasoning thrown on top. I'd like to add, they were not busy either. My companion wanted to try the fried ice cream as she'd never tried before. OMG! It was awful!. It's like they had had it stored in the freezer and warmed up. The coating was hard and chewy, not crisp as it should be and tasted stale or freezer burnt or something 🤔 We gave up and paid and left....for good I'd say. A meal we couldn't eat. The waitress did remove the charge for the enchilada which I never...
