Solid 5 stars!! Friendly and efficient folks serving up huge, affordable tasty portions at Wannee E-San Thai at the Battle Ground Station Food Carts! In the evening, there's only the Mexican truck (also delicious) and the BBQ truck open who are also open. Wish they'd have at least a couple more evening or weekend options, but there are good neaby sit-down restaurant options. Maybe they will get more food trucks open evening and weekends as they have a couple of vacant spots! But for us, it's a convenient option. Though, the pad see ew ($13) was super delicious (I would not get medium heat next time as that was a bit spicy for my liking yet I still thoroughly enjoyed the meal) and is making me want to try more of their menu. The next time I tried it, I got the tofu spice level 2 and loved it!Perfectly al dente veggies, lovely texture for the tofu, the taste on point, and the portion for the price is nice 👌 That's hard to do since I have pretty high standards! Job well done! Thank you for being great at what you do!

Wannee is one of the most authentic Thai food experiences I have had in ages! So fresh! So spot on! Such nice people! Such a wonderful dream to see coming into reality right before your eyes! Wannee has been cooking since she was 15 on the streets of Thailand with a grill and a propane tank! I got a spicy Thai ginger stir fry that was light, bright, fresh and complex! Wannee E-San Thai Food Truck is a treasure! In my distant youth, I spent many months rambling in that wonderful country, hot and sweaty, experiencing the most extraordinary food and meeting the most welcoming people. The food and the people and the mysterious vistas weave together into an incredible dream that form a large part of who I am today. Eating at a place like Wanee’s is a little bit like riding in a time machine. It’s that good. I would’ve taken pictures of the food, but I got too excited and forgot. You’ve got to try it!

Ordered the pumpkin curry and pineapple fried rice with added tofu, but I was disappointed. The curry had only one or two pieces of pumpkin. They completely left out the tofu I paid extra for in the fried rice. I tried messaging the food cart on Facebook to get this resolved, but I got no response. The flavors were decent, but the poor portioning and lack of customer service make it hard to recommend.

I fell in love with this food cart back when I found it off of fourth plane in Vancouver. Hits the spot if you are craving pad thai! It closed down so I was so excited to see them reopen in battle ground. When they first opened, it was just as great; good pad Thai, good red curry, good yakisoba, stir fry dishes, crab puffs etc. Especially if you are down to eat outdoors or get it to go. Decent prices. Only thing is, i wish they would carry a brown rice option but not a deal breaker. They modify orders correctly which is huge for good service. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in my last order, not consistent with my others. Both my dishes seemed reheated and overcooked. Kept picking out burnt noodles in the pad Thai and the Yakisoba was so over cooked the noodles were almost one big glob of stuck noodles. Maybe I ordered to close to closing or maybe they tried a different brand of noodles. It will prob be a bit before I order from there again but I’m crossing my fingers it was a blip and not a change in...
