As a regular bowler - I get to visit lots of 'Houses' to bowl. Tiger bowl in Battleground has been a fun venue for me - I've won a tournament or two here so I'm a bit tainted. Recently the word got out that Tiger bowl is now using string pins but has re-opened. I want to say immediately I HAVE NOT BOWLED AGAINST STRING PINS YET! That said, the inside word is they sound great. We've been discussing the fact that the headpin will take a lot of punishment, and that Color pins (for monte carlo) can't be put in - but I'm excited to give it a try!

Awesome little bowling alley a little off the beaten path up in Battleground. Cosmic bowling is a sweet deal - $15 for unlimited cosmic bowling for two hours on Saturdays, includes shoes. I take my kiddos here and they also love playing the vintage Bally pinball tables. Not a lot of frills, and small at only 10 lanes but that isn't super important to me. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and that IS important to me. I also like supporting local small businesses. Highly recommend for a family night out of you're in the Vancouver area.

Tried to take my kid bowling soon as they opened but was told the entire place is full all day and they can't get us in because of school practice. I have an idea.. Leave a couple lanes open for others also or turn your open sign off. You are not really open if people can't bowl. Also string pins are trash. Why!? Definitely will be happy to make the trip to...
