The service was a bit slow at first and the prices a bit high. The waitress was slow bringing us our drinks and our menus. We went during lunch hours so it made the bill a bit more easy to take when it arrived. We ordered two entrées. Perch, with parmesan tater tots and asparagus. The lobster bisque soup ordered with the perch dinner was extra. We also ordered the pecan encrusted chicken in a mustard sauce, with real mashed potatoes and asparagus. The meal came with free bread which was warm, soft and very delicious. We had two helpings of the bread because we really liked it that much. We had strawberry, lemonade which was prepared by the bartender and it was both tart and sweet and very tasty. The food is ordered via a tablet device, not by a typical laminated fold out menu. So if you're not knowledgeable about computerized devices you may want to bring a guest or guests with you who are tech savvy to help you or the staff there will be more than happy to help you I'm sure. Our food arrived in a timely manner, but when the entrées got to the table, the mashed potatoes were barely warm. The chicken was very good, moist, flavorful. The asparagus tasted bitter. The Bleu cheese cole slaw was absolutely horrible. I took one bite and that was all. I guess you'll have to decide for yourself. I usually love bleu cheese. The perch was prepared with a light batter and pan fried. It was not dried out, nor overcooked. It was wonderful. The parmesan tater tots were excellent! I loved them. I just wish there had been more of them. The lobster bisque was creamy, it actually looked like tomato soup and had little bits of lobster in it. It was really good. We also ordered the Creme' Brule for dessert, but was told they were out of that so we ordered the chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter cream cheese filling.(That is the picture I posted below, half eaten) It was so huge, rich decadent and filling. We couldn't eat it all. For two people at lunch prices, two entrées, one with soup, two beverages, and dessert, the total bill was $63(that includes 15% tip)

We were seated upstairs. Small area, but quiet, which was nice. In addition the how is pretty nice from up there. We tried the dynamite shrimp and they were very good. The wonton's were fine, but removing those and adding more green beans would be way better. They say sweet and spicy, but spicy is not a word that should be in the description. If they are supposed to be spicy they should make a recipe change. We ordered the seasonal peach sangria and it was very good, and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering it. Amongst us, my daughter had the chicken fingers and she said they were great. My wife had the sole, which I tried and was very good. With a fish and chips batter it would have totally rocked. My son had the lobster roll, and had he knows it had celery in it he would've asked for it without, but otherwise it was well made with a soft roll. I had the jambalaya (noticed the very empty bowl in the picture) and it was excellent. All entrees consisted of a substantial portion of food, no skimping there. The entrees also came with a Bleu cheese coleslaw, which was ok. If it had more Bleu cheese it would've been better. We all shared the chocolate peanut called with ice cream and it was really excellent. All in all the experience was solid and we will go back.

We had dinner here on a Thursday night during the summer and the setting along the Saginaw River is stunning. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and fairly attentive, though she may have been struggling with the amount of tables she was responsible for. Overall, the service was very good, although we did wait quite a while after dinner was served before she came to check on us again. As for the meal, we had 2 orders of Paella and one of Bourbon Salmon. The seafood in the Paella was fresh and well seasoned, The rice, however was quite "muddy" and overcooked on one order. The amount of rice in each serving was about a cup and a half and not ideally cooked since they now offer paella for one. Since Paella is more traditionally cooked in larger batches because of the rice, we took a chance on this dish and it only slightly missed the mark. The salmon dish got rave reviews on all components, as did the Seafood Gazpacho. Overall a good meal although the pricetag was well over $200 including tip.

Firstly, let me explain the circumstance of my visit. This was a group dinner for about 30 people. Our dinner was scheduled at least a month in advance. Service: I think the service was subpar. Some of us had to wait for our drinks for over an hour. Similarly some of us received wrong orders, or had to wait alone at each table while everyone else had their food. It's disappointing really that a place that has much going for them can't get staffing right. Food: those of us who received the right meals, or drinks, were very happy with the quality of food. The crab cakes were superb. Having lived in Maryland and having tried proper Maryland crab cakes I was legitimately impressed. They were delicious. Perhaps just a bit more hollandaise sauce would put them at excellent. Overall, I think this place has a real potential if they can figure out how to deliver a truly outstanding overall experience. They already charge as if they do, now they just need to step up and deliver.
