Read moreThis could be a really nice place if there were trash cans available, broken glass in the parking areas were cleared and bathrooms were available ( and open) as listed on buildings around the area. Once the bathrooms are opened up, I can only imagine what might be found! The smell outside is awful! Bay City Ordinance is listed on the bottom of posted signs in the area, hopefully they can address these issues. The personalized blue benches in the area do look very nice, I hope they can last more than a few years, but seeing how the rest of the area is NOT taken care of, I don’t think it will happen.. if you want people to visit Bay City, attend outdoor events and support the local businesses, please work on...
Read moreI went there recently for the first time this summer. I was impressed with how clean the fountain is. I know the last several years, the water would usually be gross and grimy, but this year it was so clean I even felt comfortable cooling my feet off. The park is very nice and open. There are lots of trees for shade when it's sweltering, and many built-in seating areas. The last thing I'll make note of is that I appreciate whoever designed the park. It is extremely handicap accessible, from the River Walk to the entrance from the street. And the sidewalks seem to all be in good repair, so a wheelchair or walker can roll around easily. This...
