🍦The Ice Cream is Dreamy, but the Atmosphere makes the Experience🍦
Fun, festive music; nostalgic, era-style decorum; delicious waffle cone aromas; bustling chatter... Plaza Ice Cream Parlor sits square on the corner of Main Street in full view of the Disney World Castle, where so much magic happens. It's a must-stop every time I visit the park--a great note on which to end a memorable day. (Don't forget a selfie with your ice cream--and friends/family!)
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor allows plenty of customization options. I like to get two flavors combined in a bowl with hot fudge, whipped cream, and (of course) a cherry on top. Because it's Disney, every ice cream comes with two adorably placed chocolate wafer "Mickey Ears" on top of the roundest scoop. Eat quick before the Florida heat melts away the next bite!
I've yet to try all of the flavors, but the Mint Chocolate Chip is among the best I've savored--creamy, sweet, and rounded out with a fresh, minty kick to...

Finally at the end of the day the line became manageable enough for us to get in and grab a treat. This shop is sponsored by Edy's ice cream. My daughter and I chose the ice cream sandwiched between two chocolate chip cookies. She picked the cookies and cream and I picked my favorite chocolate chip mint. It was good but way too much for us. Sharing one would have been the ideal way to go. The dole whip float still remains my favorite frozen...

We ordered the Brownie Sundae (warm Brownie served with Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream Cherry and your choice of two hand-scoops of Ice Cream) with a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of cookies 'n' cream. It was so good. Four stars good. Ice cream is ice cream, we all know that, but the brownie you want to be ooey and gooey, and it was.
Basically, if you want ice cream while you're at the Magic Kingdom, I was pretty happy with this place. The price wasn't even too bad, which is surprising for Disney....
