I gave my name and the spelling when paying for the cinnamon Mickey Mouse roll and still they had the audacity to use āno nameā once it was ready for collection! I also continued standing near the collection table and it was very late and I was tired and hungry and so was my son so we started picking on the cinnamon roll and even eating it. The lady working there said āgo stand over thereā with a very impatient and nasty tone. She didnāt use the word please or thank you it seemed to care how we felt or why we were eating our cinnamon roll close to her. It wasnāt very busy but obviously she was flustered and was unable to use any manners anymore because she had too many responsibilities and too little impatience and empathy for me OR my son. I paid thousands to be in Magic Kingdom and it seems they were unable to train decent women to work there especially to call out names and hand out food!!! All the men were kind which is why I felt I had to separate the men from the women in this particular case. I still donāt know why my food didnāt have my name on it especially when I gave the full spelling and paid for it like any other person! I deserved the same respect...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is Disney World's first in-park Starbucks, as of spring 2013. It is also one of the busiest stores in the entire world, so don't be surprised if you have a bit of a wait, especially during busy hours. Your best bet for getting in and out quickly is to go during or IMMEDIATELY after entertainment times, meaning parades and fireworks.
This location themes itself much like the rest of Main Street, even using the original Starbucks logo for a little authenticity. Inside looks nice, but because of their high volume has no indoor seating. If you're looking for a place to sit, the hub grass (in front of Cinderella's Castle) is nice, or you can walk down Center Street, the alley that branches off of Main Street before the bakery.
When it's all said and done, this location is run by Disney (not Starbucks, though their training outdoes what most Starbucks baristas go through) and your experience will most rely on the cast members you interact with. They do a lot to make this location run, and still give their guests...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOur visit was going well until they messed up our order. Jessee who was handing out the drinks didn't seem to care that we were missing an iced tea(we had received the rest of our order which included other drinks within minutes of ordering) and rudely insisted that our tea which we ordered 20 mins ago didn't get lost and basically refused to check on it. It wasn't until we asked for a supervisor and asked her what happened to our drink, did it get made. The supervisor didn't care too much either that we had rude service from Jessee or that our order was messed up. We informed her this was the worst Starbucks we have ever been to and surprisingly on Disney property. The level of service you see throughout the park definitely stops when you enter this Starbucks. The only good thing I can say about this Starbacks is the...
