Ronto Roasters — Restaurant in Bay Lake

We have eaten here many times before, today we decided to try to breakfast rontos. We did one regular and one vegan one. The vegan one uses the same slaw as the zuchhi wrap, but has a vegan egg in it. As a non vegan person eating this, you could not tell that it was a vegan egg, just tasted like hotel breakfast powdered eggs. The slaw was flavorful and spicy. The regular breakfast wrap has the sausage with egg and cheese. It is good but basic. You can also order the traditional ronto wrap with the sausage, the sauce, and the slaw for breakfast too.

We mobile ordered here specifically for the Zucchi wrap as we have heard it is great. It is the vegan option, but it is grilled zucchini with a lot of spices, so it is more standard for everyone to enjoy. We got these and then ate them in the rise of the resistance line. We always love the standard ronto wrap option, and we also love the breakfast ronto wrap option. However, the new star of the show is the Zucchi wrap! It was bursting full of flavor. It does have a small kick to it due to the spices if you are sensitive to spicy foods. But if you are a spicy food lover then this is not spicy. Disney certainly mastered the creating universally appealing entrees. Ronto Roasters, located at the incredible Star Wars place at Hollywood Studios, is a small eatery that offers takeouts and quick bites. Ronto Roasters do not exhibit Disney’s culinary excellence. But this place shows Disney’s ingenuity of creating simple menu item (for the kitchen staff) that most guests will love. While keeping the food cost extremely low.

That grilled pork, tangy slaw wrapped in the warm pita bread is a great combination. All of these ingredients pair well and complement each others greatly. I can’t believe I am praising a tweaked version of hot dog, but I can’t help myself being appreciative of ingenuity as a person belong in the same industry.

I also tried the vegan version. My first bite tells me zucchini was sliced too big, but it became quite perfect after the 3rd bite. And that tahini was just about perfect.

I don’t have to worry about what to eat and drink during my visit to Hollywood Studios because I know my needs will be met by Ronto...
