Well, I’m no stranger to fine dining and i felt this place missed on too many things. First, it was like 60 degrees in the place. Had to send my wife back to the room to get sweatshirts for everyone. When you prepare food on this level and don’t hit the nail on the head it comes off as pretentious. All show, no go. We got the shrimp flat bread which i thought was very tasty but insanely spicy, i was the only one able to even eat it. The “pouched” shrimp cocktail was not cooked to a firm white flesh but rather a semi translucent flaccid texture. I live at a beach town where every place has gorgeous firm U10 shrimp cooked the right way. I ordered a Butler’s steak medium which admittedly isn't the best cut but i was hoping for a hearty beefy piece of meat. Instead i got a mostly rare pre sliced steak that seemed like it was cooked sous vide and then tossed on a searing hot pan for a half second on each side. Making it have the texture of a piece of raw liver and no beefy flavor at all. My wife wanted me to send it back but what the heck am i gonna do? Send back a pre sliced mess and hope for them not to make it worse? Sous vide proteins is a mistake, all these pretentious chefs need to just stop it and cook properly. Maybe it wasn't even cooked that way…i wasn’t in the kitchen. So then the last thing was the potatoes my daughter got. Whole baby potatoes seem like a hard thing to get wrong but when both of my daughters said they tasted gross and “sweet” i knew something was wrong. I took one of them and it tasted like it was boiled in wine or something. So you are serving baby potatoes that taste like wine that went sour. And no, this was not some kind of balsamic glaze. The potatoes tasted like that on the INSIDE. Bizarre and completely inedible. Such a disappointment for the cost. Ive had better meals at even mediocre steak houses. If you are dazzled by pretentious plating and silly sauces you will love this place. If you want properly prepared food,...

I was a table for two on Valentine’s Day with a $420 bill, I loved it so much.
What I will say. I had sat for 35 minutes without any drinks, any server, no wine list, had a million questions about the menu and honestly was going to walk out.
I flagged over a manager, and these people are absolute professionals. I explained how one drink came (brown butter old fashioned) and the other wasn’t ready, so they just gave the one. I didn’t want to have a sip until I cheers with my significant other, so my drink became watered down as we waited. Once I finally flagged down a manager (I hate complaining) the experience immediately changed. It was never about money, I wanted SERVICE. What I will say, is they never comped anything on my bill. For me, that wasn’t an issue, I didn’t want a discount, I wanted to receive things faster. I feel like most people who had nothing on their table for 45 minutes would want a monetary discount, however, that didn’t bother me. Once I called for a manager they gave me a new server and treated me like a king. My server (I am so sorry for not remembering your name - you were beyond fantastic) was an Asian woman with such grace and charisma we immediately fell in love with her. She helped us get good pictures, and was absolutely fantastic.
You guys owe her a raise!! Because I left feeling like I had one of the best dinners of my life. She is a shooting star. So is the manager who looks at a tablet and was dressed in a peachy orange dress.
This was a fantastic example of guest recovery, and for that reason, you still receive 5 stars. Thank you so much for accommodating me tonight. And thank you for realizing although I complained, I was still looking forward to everything. Once I called over that manager, she affectively “reset” my night. Thank you again. Also, I appreciate the moderate pricing of Veuve Cliquot. I hate anywhere that charges over $150 for the...
Read moreWent with a friend last week for their magical dining promotion. My friend made a reservation through the Disney application. I arrived to the hotel and was offered complimentary valet parking. My friend and I were greeted by a friendly hostess, who sat us in a booth. We both decided on the clam chowder, and fish of the day (mahi mahi). I also had a zooberry cocktail (13 dollars). The cocktail was nice and refreshing with blueberry vodka, lemon, and sugary syrup. However, for 13 dollars, expected to be more boozy. The clam chowder was quite delicious with a decent amount of clams and potatoes. I really loved the chowder as it was flavorful without being overbearing. The clam on top made a nice touch. The fish was nice and light, but a bit dry since the sauce came on the side. I was offered both the wine sauce and the green sauce, and poured the green sauce more as it added a nice kick to the dish. The dish also came with a risotto that I found to be quite rich, but the roasted veggies were very delicious. For dessert, I ended with the chocolate lava cake, which was a bit dry until I hit the lava in the center. But it was still a delicious cake and the ice cream was a nice compliment. My friend enjoyed his float for dessert as he substituted to have cola instead of root beer.
The service was friendly and mostly attentive. Our server was and to accommodate our requests and substitutions. The atmosphere was semi formal as it was requested to take our hats off from the dining room, however they did allow tasteful t-shirts as many clientele are tourists from the resorts.
Overall, this is a good choice for magical dining. However, it would have been very expensive if we had to pay full price (13 dollars for clam chowder, 38 for the fish, and 13 for the dessert). Enjoy the dinner and then walk off the calories and drink with a stroll of the Disney resorts within...
