I seriously only come over here a few times a year. And I ALWAYS forget how horrible it is at this location. But not this time bc I will remember. I order the same thing EVERY SINGLE TIME i am at my usual Starbucks. About 6/7 days. I add 2 shots of blonde espresso to my frap and get it in a larger cup so that they don’t dump a bunch down the drain. As I ordered the girl asked me if I would like the shots affogato bc if they were blended instead, I wouldn't need them in a larger cup. I informed this person that volume increases the same amount no matter if it is blended first or not. 🤦🏼♀️ I could not believe my ears that an adult did not understand such a basic concept but hey we all have different strengths. Attempt #1, after waiting 15 mins in a line with only 2 other cars, i get handed a drink that wasn't what i ordered so they said oh ok I forgot so I’ll remake it. Mmk. Second time im running rly late now and rly have to go so i drive away with what i assumed to be a normal drink. It was literally sickening. Just caramel syrup and some type of milkish substance blended together with NO shots at all. I had to toss it when i got to the indoor soccer place for my kids game bc it was that awful. Even my husband who never sends things back was like plz dont drink that you are going to throw up. He surmised it must have been on purpose. So i decided to go back after the game as i was told on the phone that they could do nothing for me to give me a credit for the drink on my app account and that I could only come have it remade. Again. So i did. And i admit I should have tried it right there. But I figured after complaining to a supervisor, this would have to be ok. No. They must have purposely pulled the shots too long bc it tasted like cat urine smells. I called to complain abt this and was hung up on abruptly as soon as I started saying that theres no way it was not done on purpose. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt saying they did it bc they were annoyed with me. Because the other option is that they literally are so bad at preparing the shots that they are incapable of doing it correctly. I hope that is not the case bc if so that is def not the place for them! And yes I am picky about the drink. But it is bc it is almost 9 dollars and so I should have what I ordered for paying that premium almost every day. Read moreUsually decent and don’t think I’ve ever had issues before. Only leaving this review because of the weird experience I had today. Went through the drive thru and ordered a pretty simple order with 2 MINOR (literally cold foam and flavor- nothing insane) modifications to a standard staple drink. I was charged for the modifications but was given just the basic drink- had to get it remade after re explaining what I wanted- only to be cut off mid sentence by the same lady guessing my modifications (and guessing wrong, for that matter). Told me they would remake my drink after I corrected her guess of my drink, and they still made it wrong. At that point I accepted my losses and just went home because at that point I had two drinks to finish myself lol and I had somewhere I needed to be. They weren’t bad or anything, just not what I ordered. The lady wasn’t rude, but I felt the situation could’ve been handled better, she seemed pretty clueless.
But I am still dumbfounded. Just wanted to post this so that someone could be aware of how some people’s orders are being handled and maybe serve as a reminder for baristas to double check their orders before just handing them off or offer more training to/come up with a better system of ensuring correct orders. Read moreThis is the closest Starbucks to me and I keep hoping they're just having an off day, but nope, they're just horrible. I don't know what's going on here, but corporate needs to get involved or they just need to close this place down. They rarely make a drink correctly, I ALWAYS order venti's and have been given grande's on numerous occasions (but charged for the larger one). I was just there yesterday and we were handed our drinks and I'm thinking 'huh, this seems light.' I hand it to my boyfriend as the second drink comes and he must have thought the same thing because he took the lid off and it was no where near filled to the top! They doubled up the cups, I don't know why, to try and make it seem heavier so we wouldn't notice that they're not filling up the drinks all the way? You can see from the pictures. They were taken as soon as we received them. Total BS, Starbucks! They raise the prices, coffee tastes burnt, employees can't get an order right, and now they don't even fill the cups up all the way? Waste of money....
