We went to our local Home Outlet in Warren, Oh. Wanted to see if we could custom build a small kitchen island. Got excited when we saw a sign stating that you could do that-just ask an owner! (employee) Didn't mind waiting a short time-it was a Saturday and they were busy. Very disappointed when someone finally did come over. Didn't seem interested in all to see what we were looking for. Never sat down with us to go over options and just seemed in a big hurry to be doing something else. If he wanted us to take our possible business elsewhere, he got his wish. Firstly, who doesn't love a bargain?! While some of their products are over priced, they do have a good selection of home renno/repair items that are good quality at nice prices. It's kinda like a smaller version of Walmart because you walk in wanting one thing and discover a dozen other items that are simply too cheap to pass up! lol As an added bonus the facility is very handicapped accessible and the staff are quite pleasant too. Everyone is very polite and helpful, every time I have been here. The in-stock merchandise is higher quality than the big box stores at half the cost; AND with attentive and helpful employees, win win!! The only down side for me personally, is that they don't deliver, so I will have to rent a truck. I can't comment on the actual quality, functionality, or look of the cabinets yet, as I am waiting for a few that were special ordered to come in before I pick them all up. Will update when they...
