My suggested that we go bcos our other sandwich shop was closing soon and was not taking any more orders (bad weather ). So I agreed. We walked in ,I looked at the menu ,she went to the cashier to order . As I approached the cashier, I noticed one associate who appeared losted if not ,under the influence. I asked the cashier ,who was wear an N5 face mask if the Pastrami was beef .He mumbled something that neither of us could hear ,but did go to the back to ask . Meanwhile another customer that entered the store just b4 us kept the man on the grill occupied with conversation. The associate that looked lost was still in a state of animation. After two minutes ,the cashier came back to tell us that they were not sure what the Pastrami was made of . I ordered a 10in Turkey ,my wife Impossible steak. I was able to look over the counter without any effort to see a half eaten steak sandwich on the end of the counter close to the cashier. My wife just paid for our order so we waited . The man on the grill made her sandwich and I waited a bit . Another guy came from the back and started checking order tickets . He proceeded to make the orders as follows as my wife asked if the Pastrami was Pork or Beef . He answered 90% sure it was pork .The lost associate began to the sandwiches the were ready but move at the pace of a snail in salt ,still lost . He move the sandwiches from one counter the other ,leaving the contents on the counter He began with . The one that started to finish the orders informed him that he was losing the contents of the sandwiches and he replied..I Didn't Know I did . He proceeded to pick up the lost contents and was about to place them back in the sandwich that he had already wrapped but,was spooked those who were watching .This was my first and LAST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS STORE !! The reviews that I have read put the exclamation point on it !!! Your Business is in trouble,...
Read moreWhen they actually make what you ordered this place is great. Unfortunately, you never know what you’ll get there. Tonight the gentleman I spoke to on the phone was an absolute gem in the sense he clearly was annoyed someone called and made him work. I repeated what I wanted twice (totally fine, I’ll repeat it as often as needed to ensure it’s captured correctly) and it was still made incorrectly. Sub was still fine (taste wise) despite missing things I ordered and adding things I didn’t ask for so sure fine, I’ll just eat it. However, the fact that he acted annoyed from the time he answered the phone to the time he checked me out deserves mentioning. If I called right before you closed ok fine, but it was a little over an hour before and I didn’t order anything hot so it’s not like they had to fire up the grill again nor did I order more than one sub. I had to ask for when to come pick it up, he just said hello when I got there and started at me, like I’m sorry you clearly have elsewhere to be and I’m in the way of that so maybe a customer facing position isn’t for you. The fact that I wanted to scan my QR code for rewards, seemed to annoy him. I tipped but I hope it only goes to the people who made my sandwich because he surely didn’t do anything to warrant one. It’s a shame because even when they mess subs up there everyone has always been so nice and welcoming. Not sure what was up with Mr. Personality but maybe customer service roles aren’t for him. Could I have called to give them the chance to correct it? Sure, but it was only him and one person on the assembly line that I saw so really what would have been the point to address it with someone who clearly doesn’t care.
Probably check out one of their other locations for awhile given...
Read moreThe worst people! Cannot make an order correctly, the alleged manager (Nathan?) thinks its appropriate to hang up on customers, then shift them to the closed voicemail message when they call back, no one is apparently trained or intelligent enough to be able to locate the franchise owners contact information. Any attempt to point out their obvious lack of attention or concern (the apathy was so thick you could almost cut it with a knife) is met with excuses and blatant dishonesty. Looking at the rest of the reviews, it seems they not only have difficulty doing things correctly (and legally, aren't food workers with long hair supposed to wear hair nets and be dressed appropriately?), but in accepting feedback when they screw up as a result of their apathetic approach to the duties our money pays them to do. It also seems they take advantage of Uber Eats customers by defrauding them (Customer pays for double meat, they only give...
