Where should i start?.... when you guys have a software issue do not take your untrained problems out on your customers, the loyal people of delaware who love chick-fil-a. So if there is a glitch in the system, instead of processing my order 3 times and charging my card twice and my chick-fil-a one card. How about you slow the process down and listen to what has to be said instead automatically jumping to conclude that i am out to get free food and that i am looking to get over on your establishment. So during my experience at this location the young lady who reviewed my order seemed to be caring and concerned of what was going on. Then the young lady at the window is where the problem started to occur, after explaining to her that i was charged multiple times and showing the E-Recipt she then continued to tell me i was only charged $.90 and that i would need another form of payment. After becoming more frustrated with me trying to show this young lady my recipt, she then rolls her eyes and calls for her manager/operator Ryan. Ryan then proceeded to rush to the window with a attitude and told me that i would also need another form of payment because they never recieved it. After showing Ryan the recipts multiple times and also trying to explain that i was also charged multiple times he then proceeds to raise his voice stating that this order is on the house. I then continue to tell ryan that was already charged so this order cannot be on the house , he then continues by giving me a bag with half of the items i paid for, missing the cookies, fries, and sandwhich. The frozen coffee i ordered was half a#* made, and it was a small i ordered a large. So after he hands me half of my order he then tells me i have to leave his line and have a great day. I keep trying to explain, and the Chick-fil-a staff does not want to deal with me. So i then leave calling to get corporates number after 4 times of trying and no one answering the stores phone, the nice young lady who i spoke with through coporate helped me out greatly, she started the refund process and listened to my concerns also apologizing for the terrible experice i had at the bear location. Never shall i visit there again, these guys are rude and untrained and need propper customer service training. The food from chick-fil-a will always be amazing but the service is awful.... never again, ryan i know you may not like your job but atleast act like it while your there , and as for the girl at the window stay in school because fast food isnt a career. Learn from looking at the...
Read moreTop quality A+ though the owner of the shopping center needs to allow them a massively needed parking lot expansion esp during coronavirus since the drive thru capacity-despite the incredibly high speed of service-is simply not capable of handling more than 25 cars in a line, and the stubbornness of the lease-holder on the location is causing a traffic and safety issue by essentially forcing the drive t thru line to back up into the main access road for this section of the shopping center, and furthermore out into and across the thoroughfare road which accesses the neighborhood of single-family homes behind the shopping center, and due to the line of traffic attempting to enter that part of the shopping center and the four-way stop located in this area, at peak times the line now extends out onto route 40, causing traffic onto a major road, & back down into the neighborhood, and limiting access to the rest of the shopping center not to mention the fire Lanes for this center have become severely restricted as well and due to the coronavirus and drive-thru capacity issue there is now traffic boiling over even at non-peak.
TL;DR (or, in summation) Chick fila is awesome and the employees are able to clear the drive thru at remarkable speed, but DelleDonne associates have failed to solve the problem despite chick fila doing all they possibly can to alleviate it on their end, and coronavirus in 2020 hasincrease this from a nuisance that sometimes a problem into a traffic and safety hazard.
Edit It appears I was previously misled or confused about who was causing the issue. It is the New Castle County zoning board who is not allowing a variance on this unique situation. So the actual reason for the traffic and safety hazard at this location is local bureaucracy. Almost time to vote! Maybe we can force those who decide what to do with our tax money to make our safety more of a priority with our votes, or maybe at least make a little noise about a problem they...
Read moreI am a frequent customer at this location, I work in the same shopping center so after work I usually spin by to pick up dinner on my way home. It's always very pleasant, the foods amazing. We never have an issue
Tonight I went about my routine, the drive through people were awesome and helpful. When I was handed my food at the drive through window I noticed the drink holder was a little damp at the bottom. After lifting the cups to move to my cup holders my large lemonade and sweet tea started leaking everywhere. There was a massive hole in the bottom of my cup and it was still handed to me
Heres what got drenched: •my dashboard •my steering wheel •my radio • my transmission lever •my emergency break •my cup holders •my driver and passenger side door •my windows •my clothes •my hair •my girlfriend's clothes •my floors •my gas and break petel •my purse • permanently damaged pictures we had taped around
We went back through the drive through and we got another drink. I asked for my items to be rebagged because my bag at this point was soaked, Inturn I was handed a bag that was significantly smaller than my original bag that couldn't hold all of my food and then he walked off.
The service we got from the window (not order takers) was shocking given what just happened. How was this hole not noticed before it was handed to me, it was a hole it had to have been spilling before it was even handed to me
We had to pull over on the side of the road to clean the car we best we could, and then we had to do an even deeper clean when we got home. I am so...
