Dunkin' — Restaurant in Beaufort

The most incompetent staff I have ever dealt with.

I presented my $1 coupon before ordering. I told her I would like a large iced decaf french vanilla "whatever I could get with the coupon". She said " so just a iced coffee?" And I said whatever I can get with the coupon. So she rang it up. I also requested a double espresso with cream (which was VERY confusing to her). She tells me my total, to which I responded by handing her my coupon. She tried to ring it up, but it wouldn't work. She tells another staff member and she said "because she wanted iced coffee and not a iced latte" (several times very loudly and with attitude). I responded by saying that I would just use my coupon another time and to let me pay. She walked away, and I stuck my card in the chip reader. It was finished reading my card, so I pulled it out and it said "waiting for cashier". By that time the other staff member was handing me a drink. "Large decaff french vanilla iced coffee with 2 shots of espresso." 🤔 "No. The two shots of espresso were separate. It's a decaf drink". With MUCH attitude my drinks were made again. I apologized and said my drink order must have been complicated. I got an eye roll in return. Went out to the car and started telling the story to my husband, and out comes the original staff member to my car asking me if I had paid. I told her yes, and she said I didn't. I followed her back in the store and she was telling another staff member (loudly and in front of 20 other customers) that I didn't pay. Other customers were all staring at me and I had to step in front of them all to pay for a second time.

Serious problems in this location!! I go to the one back home almost daily. When we are visiting our property in Beaufort, I will NEVER visit this DD again and I advise against it for...

If I could, I would have given them a 0 star for customer service. I was actually standing behind Kayla, the person who left a review before me, and I saw it all happen. My first impression was not too great. On the outside of the building, there was a massive piece of the roof dangling by a single chord, and it was not blocked off or anything. When I walked inside, I saw a staff member working being very disrespectful to the customer in front of me, and gave priority to a non-paying customer (most likely her boyfriend) before the paying customer who had been kindly waiting to order and pay. But instead, the worker got her friend’s coffee and doughnuts first. When I went up to the counter to order, the staff member’s friend was still standing off to the side, so instead of kindly asking me what I would like to order, she yet again went over to her friend and started talking to him, and completely forgot about me. Another staff member said to her, “I thought you were ringing them up!” Instead of the lady saying ok I’m coming right now, she told us to wait a minute, rolled her eyes and mumbled something I could not hear under her breath. The other staff member came and rang us up, and I cannot say that their drinks are not good, because they were. I asked for an iced tea with 4 pieces of lemon, but at they only had two, even though it was only noon. As I was getting a straw, I saw the lady finally stop talking to her friend and then proceeded to angrily sweep the floor. In the process of doing that, she swept up a huge pile of dirt and dust, which all blew into the doughnuts. I do not think I will be coming back here...

I have never had a "bad" experience at a Dunkin donuts. But today was disappointing. Me and my husband came in and we're the only customers. There wasn't a greeting as I would have expected. No smiles. The Girl behind the counter was fine. Didn't seem happy to be there though. Order went ok. The blond was complaining that they "haven't gotten any tips all day" as we waited. My husband's pineapple coolatta was wrong when he told her he ordered a cosmic she said oh grabbed the cup and fixed it handing him it without a word. I thought I was waiting for my cosmic cotton candy coolatta, the blond came around and sat with a guy and asked him how his life was going. I didn't hear or see the other girl making my drink. My husband said he would tell the blond but I thought she was on break and didn't want to disturb Her on her break. So I went up to the drink counter and stood.... Then I hear the blond say in her headset welcome to DD.. so she wasn't on break. Still waiting. Finally the other girl came over and I explained I didn't get my drink. She walked away without a word. However when I received my drink and thanked her she did respond with a welcome. The saving Grace was my cotton candy drink! It was amazing. I hope these girls have a better rest if there day. But I think I'll stick...
