West Marine — Local services in Port Royal

Husband called before driving into Beaufort Store to make sure he didn't need a receipt for an exchange of a part(exchanging for same item, returning one that didn't work). Receipt was at office in Bluffton, was told by "Jim" on the phone it was no problem! Got to the store and "Bill" refused to exchange the item and "Jim" stood by not acknowledging that he in fact told my husband over the phone that it would not be a problem.... Needless to say, definately NOT returning to the Beaufort store... will deal with the Hilton Head location as they seem to be trained in customer service and professional. Beaufort guys need a customer service...

Every time I go there the staff is clueless. Today I stopped by for bow rail Tee fittings. After trying to explain to the attendant, I looked the item up on the internet and showed him. He said “oh, that is what you are looking for”. We don’t have any but maybe the Hilton Head store does. He should have said let me check with the Hilton Head store or I can order that for you.
