Horrible experience. My daughter wanted chow mein and orange chicken. We order through the drive through. We were just sitting there waiting and the guy came back to the window and said did you need something else, I said we just ordered and waiting the food. He said can you pull up because my timer?? I didn't know what he meant until my oldest daughter said the drive thru timer used for how long you wait in the drive way. So I pull up to the stop area at the end of the drive thru, sat there for a little while, no one came out. So I pull around the front to a parking spot, we just sat patiently waiting. After about 10 more minutes waiting the guy came out with the drink. He walked back in, so I said they must be still cooking the food. We sat there just waiting. A pizza hut delivery guy pulls up. They open the door and let him in, about three different employees went talked with him before he gave them the pizza and left. It had been 45 minutes, we looked at the receipt time we ordered the food. My daughter said pull back around to the drive way because we didn't see anybody in sight. I drive around and 3 of the employees we standing around there cleaning up and look like disposing the shrimp fried rice. They saw me looking a lady walked to the window and said may I help you. I said I'm still waiting on my order its been almost an hour. She go back and start talking to the two guys, one at a reguster counting money, they laugh and a guy walk back to the window and said what you order. I said the chow mein and orange chicken, you told me to pull up because of the timer almost an hour ago, you brought a drink out and we just been sitting there waiting on the food. He go back and talk to the other two employees then come back to the window and say I di thought I bought you your food. I replied no you didn't, you only bought a drink, you want to get in here and look. He said no, what you have again. So I gave him the receipt. He go back and talk to the others then come back and say we don't have anymore chow mein do you want shrimp fried rice. ( okay I just watch yall dump that mess into something and then he ask do we want it) I said no she(my daughter) want her chow mein and orange chicken. He said we don't have anymore. I said well just charge us for the drink and give us the money back. He said you want a refund, I said yes. He close the window and get the ither guy to refund us. He gave us a refund and just stood in the drive thru looking crazy!! . I was very upset after spending almost an hour waiting in my child food, in which we had to drive an hour back home. However I was polite and said thank you and have a nice night. Worst experience EVER!! I will never go back there, first time and last time. Horrible service!!!! Can't say anything about the food because we...
Read moreWorst Panda experience ever. 8:30 Friday night six boys working. At least six. They flat out ignored us for a few minutes, I'm thinking it was to deter us from eating inside the restaurant. After a few minutes one of them finally acknowledged us and took our order. My food was available but Mike's dinner the orange chicken had a 2 minute wait. We got our stuff my stuff anyway and while we're waiting for the orange chicken I ran to the bathroom. This location had only the men's bathroom available. The woman's bathroom was marked as close to the public. A sign indicating to use the men's bathroom. Fine I'm not weirded out too much by that except the men's bathroom was gross including no toilet paper. Luckily I had some napkins available to me. I came out of the bathroom well after the 2 minutes and still no food. Mike was sitting down at the table, I joined him, and after a few more minutes I went ahead and asked for my food so I could start eating. I got it it was hot so I was happy. Mike got his food and we started to eat. Then the grill caught on fire. At first all of the boys just kind of walked around it wondering what to do but it was not dying out. We continued to sit there and eat and watch what would happen. A few phone calls were made in the fire was getting bigger, the employees were starting to get a little more anxious about the fire. We continued to eat. One of the guys got a hold of presumably a female manager and facetimed her. She was frantic , the boys remained calm. We continued to eat. She advised them to put water on this fire and all the boys had sense enough to say no we don't think we should put water on it and I'm glad they didn't because from where I was sitting I could not tell what was actually burning. The fire continued to grow. the woman on the phone became more and more frantic. We continued to eat. Finally one of the boys came up with the idea to just kind of blot out the fire, which he successfully did. By now it's 9pm and the guys had cleared up the already slim pickings food. As we walked out, I noticed the signage indicated they were open til 10 on Friday nights. Again, the line was already broken down. As we walked out, a family of 7 were walking in. I wonder what...
Read moreI am a regular customer at Panda Express. The food itself is tasty, but the service is always lacking. When I first started going, I only went through the drive thru. On 3 separate, consecutive occasions, food was missing from my order, or I was given the wrong dishes, so I'd have to go inside to get it fixed. I started just going in to order to avoid this problem.
Tonight, however, was my most frustrating experience. While the staff were polite, communication on their end was exceptionally poor. One of the dishes I wanted was being cooked, and I was told 5-6 minute wait; no problem. I paid for my food at 8:04pm. After 15 minutes, I asked an available staff member if the dish I was waiting on was ready; again, I was told 5 more minutes. I was annoyed, but they were busy, so I waited another 10+ minutes to walk up to a third employee, not only to find that the dish I wanted was ready, but that my original plate was given to someone else. I asked the staff what the process was for someone waiting on an order; "do I approach them, or do they come get me, etc". They said if you paid, someone should have taken your name. No one took my name, and the original girl that took my order seemed confused that I was still waiting, even though I was sitting there making eye contact with her off and on throughout this whole experience.
Please instruct your staff to properly collect information regarding customers that are waiting. I work in public service, and have been a server so I understand the struggles they face. However, as a paying customer, I should not have had to ask twice about when the food would be ready, nor should I have had to approach them a third time after literally 30 minutes, to find out the dishes were in fact ready, my original plate was gone, and neither of the first two women took my name down. I should not have to do their job for them. This was bad communication, and a lack of care...
