Tony's BBQ & Steakhouse — Restaurant in Beaumont

I visited the new location on eastex freeway next to Ralph and Kacoo's in Beaumont. I love the barbecue at Tony's and I have recently learned that there are steaks are pretty tasty as well!

We were a party of three and we had salads and baked potatoes as a part of our meal. I will just say that Tony's BBQ is doing themselves no favor by using cheap or imitation shredded cheese in their food. It doesn't melt the way it should and it feels hard in your mouth. Definitely not the texture you would expect and it obviously takes away from the dining experience. We all noticed it.

I have dined here previously, as recently as last week and THAT was the difference. I don't know if they ran out of their normal cheese and had to buy cheese from the grocery store on short notice or something but this was definitely detrimental to the entire experience. Quality ingredients produce quality food!

A large group of us actually ate here by luck. It had been a while since we were in the area, and to appease the group, decided to eat just get pizza at Mazzio's. Mazzio's was long gone, but Tony's BBQ was open, and only had a couple cars during dinnertime, so we took a gamble. We mostly ordered the three meat all you can eat, which is exactly what it sounds like, Awesome although most everything seemed pricey. The restaurant was decorated to match the typical BBQ wild west theme, with some nice pieces around the dining room, overall good atmosphere. Oddly enough, the inside seemed much larger with the new floor plan. The all you can eat brisket, and sausage had me over indulging way more than I should have. The only negative thing I could say, is there wasn't a wait staff, at least not on this night. Worse customer service EVER! I ordered through Doordarsh. On the menu it says the chopped brisket sandwich comes with fries. I did not receive fries. I called and was told that because their instore menu does not say it comes with fries, I don't get fries. I asked to speak to a manager. The rude young girl on the phone went to speak to her manager and returned with the same explanation. That the doordash menu was wrong. I went to the stores website. That menu also said the sandwich came with fries. I had to drive up to the store to get my order right. But not until I had to argue with the manager about his website, showing him what it said. They were rude and reluctant to replace my order. When I got back to work and opened the sandwich, it barely had any meat on it,the bun was hard and old, and the fries were old and reheated.
