You know, when people stray away from dentists due to anxiety, embarrassment, or even the funds, it's important to slow down, show empathy, treat people like they are still human and make them feel like they want to come back.

The entire Beaumont location did just that!

I have been to both the Beaumont and the Port Arthur locations. Port Arthur was okay but the staff at Beaumont seems to enjoy their jobs way more! They are friendly, smiley, patient and very courteous! They truly make me want to come back for more treatments!

Starting off... Dr. Scott came in humming and smiling and just created this great atmosphere! You can tell he loves what he does! I had to have two root canals and let me tell you somebody should give that man an award for being able to put someone asleep both times (without medication) while performing a root canal! Dare I say I was relaxed??!! I never felt any pain! I didn't even feel the initial numbing shot! Thank you so much Dr. Scott!

Dr. Lindsey has such a genuine personality and makes all the other dental procedures bearable! In between procedures, we talked about movies and music. He's very personable and seems to also enjoy his job! He answered every question and didn't make it seem like he was in a rush. Thank you Dr. Lindsey!

Yuli was amazing! Also very personable. Very eager to take the utmost care. Yuli seemed to listen when I had concerns and questions. Even though there is a huge age gap, she was very easy to talk to! Yuli, keep up the good work! I just know you will go far! Thank you Yuli!

Crystal was a bit more quiet but also very attentive and personable. I asked her a million questions🤣😂 she was very knowledgeable and precise.

Heaven, Ariel, the lady that took my payment.... ya'll rock! Thank you for being so patient with me!

These ladies truly seemed to care about their patients/ customers.

They all work together extremely well! Definitely a dream team that any office would be lucky to have.

Aaaaand to the young lady that sits at the front desk the majority of the time... I see you. Service never gets the credit they deserve. Do ya'll even know that your first point of contact when walking in will make or break the appointment for the customer. Very friendly and kind from the very start of the appointment! Calmed my anxiety way down.

Very clean! Great atmosphere! Also quick! I've had so many appointments in the past month and was not kept waiting on any of them.

I've found my dental home! Is that...

Staff and doctors all very caring and polite! I, like most people I believe really don’t enjoy going to the dentist. The sounds and smells… I have a horror story from childhood on top of everything else, and they all took me for my word and listened and took the care and respect to help me feel better. Update…..I had a tooth pulled on a Monday. The dentist that pulled it didn’t do a bad job, the tooth was really deep and one of the roots was “hooked” around the next one’s root! So the pain I was in was quite severe. By Saturday evening, about 8:00 pm. I called the office and felt I needed to be seen. The lady I spoke to with the answering service was very nice and said she would have the “on call” dentist call me back. I got a call back within 5 minutes from Dr. Lindsey. The entire call lasted 3 minutes! I told him I was in severe pain and felt I needed to be seen. He interrupted me and said, “You are not an emergent case. I am not going to call in pain medication without seeing you, and I’m out of town. You’re not swollen and you can swallow and breathe! I’m not cutting my weekend short for you. Get some clove oil and Tylenol and you should be fine!” He then hung up on me!!! So my issues with this doctor are, 1) If he was the emergency doctor on call, why was he out of town. 2) He never really gave me an opportunity to say if I was swollen or if I could swallow. 3) Without saying the actual words, “you’re a drug seeker and I will not treat you” that’s what he implied!! 4) He hung up on a patient that was calling for help!!!! I ended up going to an emergency room, the doctor there said he believed there was an infection and prescribed an antibiotic as well as a non-narcotic pain medication. I ended up at another dental office, one that is not affiliated with Aspen, two weeks later! This dentist prescribed me another antibiotic and wants to see me again on the 20th. One week after seeing this other dentist I am no longer in pain, and all of the swelling around the socket has finally gone down! I changed my number of stars because of Dr. Blake Lindsay. The way he treated me without ever seeing me or talking to me about my symptoms was and is completely unacceptable! It has also cost me an additional $150.00 out of pocket!! I don’t normally post reviews but for this place I figured I would. I don’t have great teeth. I don’t have dental insurance because insurance is expensive and going to the dentist in general is expensive. Usually when I go into any dental office I feel judged because while my teeth aren’t rotting out of my head, like I said they aren’t the best. However, I went today and everyone there was so nice. I didn’t feel judged. The dentist that did my exam and sat and talked with me about what all was going on with my teeth and why exactly it was happening and how to fix it, even told me inexpensive, at home ways to at least start the process of treatment right down to the proper toothbrush to use. He was very nice, non-judgmental, and he seemed to genuinely care. Not like most dentists and dental offices who don’t want to tell you EVERYTHING including ways to prevent having to come to the dentist in general. It didn’t seem like it was about the money for him like a lot of dentists. I loved that! The dental hygienist also helped. She explained everything to me really well also. When I went to get my treatment plan I was expecting an outrageous cost because I’ve been to places with absolutely crazy costs. It was still expensive for me obviously but it was at reasonable prices, easily taken care of with a payment plan which is something that they also offer. I definitely had a great experience with this place and I definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of great dental care at reasonable prices. These people, especially the dentist I saw today genuinely care about your dental health and making sure you and your smile are well taken care of. If you don’t go to the dentist because of how expensive it is, give these people a try. Even if you aren’t able to afford it that day, you will at least walk out a bit more educated about your own teeth and how to properly take care of them...
