The service in this store is very poor. I went there to pick up an order placed online. When I arrived there were 4 people ahead of me in the line. Soon there were 6 people behind me. There was only one associate working the pickup orders. She had to work the front service deck and go to the back of the store to retrieve the orders. I was there 45 minutes just to pick up an order. I asked for a manager. A dept. manager came; not the manager of this dept. Another dept. manager came. Then an assistant manager. The manager refused to come to speak with me. The store was not full considering it is one week before Christmas. There was merchandise on the floor in the women's clothing areas, the floors were actually dirty, associates avoid eye contact to discourage customers from asking for assistance. I left my phone number and asked that the manager contact me. It has been 7 hours since I left the message. I do not expect a call. She was too cowardly or apathetic to speak with a concerned customer. These are the reasons that most customers prefer shopping the largest online retailer. Read moreI had an issue with Cartwheel and the female Asian employee working acted like she didn’t want to take care of it. Actually, 2 issues. The first was that when I scanned my wallet, it only applied one Cartwheel offer that I had added instead of both. It took $1 off of Swiffer, but did not take the $3 off the Pampers which I had added by scanning the barcode so I knew it was eligible. Additionally, when I scanned my wallet, it only used Cartwheel and did not apply my payment method like normal. When I tried to scan my wallet again, it simply said that my wallet had already been scanned and the employee didn’t know how to fix it. Finally, she said that she would have to void the entire transaction and there was no guarantee it would work the second time. Luckily I had brought my physical Target card as I usually don’t as there is no need for it. Additionally, I wasn’t able to use the gift card that was in my wallet. I love Target and have been a loyal customer for years, but I think I will exclusively shop online...

My daughter was there just looking at the make up when an employee walked up to her with a tone like she(My daughter) was making her mad just being there to ask if she needed anything. Granted, my daughter was opening lipstick to see what they looked like. My daughter nervously laughed and said no she didn't need any help. So then, the woman looked at her with all the attitude she had in her and said "can you not touch anything, cause you don't look like someone we can trust." We were followed around for the rest if the time we were there. I didn't know exactly what she said until we got home and my daughter was still mad. She has anxiety and that woman did not help with it. She does not need to be in customer service and target needs to have a stonger training program.
