I will have to make this short and sweet, since it doesn't allow for more than so many characters on review. That being said, I myself have ran restaurants retails I'm also medically trained as an EMT and have worked in home health so I am an expert in both fields. Both the Miller Lane and the Beavercreek locations are some of the worst I've ever seen. Beavercreek used to be my favorite before covid but apparently the former franchisor no longer runs it and the company that runs the Miller Lane one now has the Beavercreek one as well. I have witnessed at both locations but more recently at Beavercreek management mistreating their customers as well as their employees. Example talking down to employees, making threats to employees but in an offhanded way so that it wasn't a direct threat. Refusing to give a paycheck to an employee I assume was a former trying to pick up their final check I overheard them talking and there was some form that should have been filled out during their orientation when they started but never got filled out that the manager named David wanted this young lady to fill out before he'd give her her final paycheck. When she expressed her concerns about why she was leaving the company which he seemed aggravated that she was leaving, he then got verbally aggressive with her made threats to her refused to give her her check. Now I have been in here a few times before and witnessed the same manager telling employees who were cleaning tables that they weren't allowed to wear those blue non latex restaurant certified protective gloves. He lied and told them that it was against health code, which it is not as long as the gloves are the non latex restaurant certified ones such as the blue ones that they have there. Not only are they allowed they're encouraged for the safety of the customers as well as the employee cleaning dirty germ-filled tables and to help prevent cross-contamination from one person to another. I've also listened to him refuse to give breaks especially during peak times when the employees are working non-stop and simply ask for a quick 15 minute break which would allow them to re-energize center themselves and can get back to work. He refused now I've seen many restaurants including ones I've managed where I would allow the brakes they're necessary to have a better workflow I would not work my employees an entire shift without giving them some kind of a break, in the case of the servers who are keeping tables cleaned and refilling drinks all you have to do is have another server cover that person's tables while they take the quick break. I've also witnessed as well as read some of the other reviews were similar things have happened, where they have specially this Manager David in a couple of his lackeys being disrespectful to persons with disabilities persons with tan and brown skin both customers as well as employees. I have looked at some of the other reviews and seen instances or a person with an electric scooter which treated disrespectfully and talked down to, there's also one and I've witnessed it for myself so this obviously has happened more than once where a customer was overcharged and management specifically this David person some young gentleman that runs that location refused to refund the difference back to the customer. Also their lack of selections on certain food items especially their dessert which is practically non-existent and the constant non-working condition of their ice cream machine. If this was my location I would have fired the entire management team by this point, not only am I posting this but I'm also going to contact the parent company that owns The branding rights and suggest that they find other franchises to run both Miller Lane and Beavercreek because neither one of them are being ran properly. You don't threaten your employees you don't refuse to pay them you don't refuse to allow them to wear protective gloves for their safety especially when they might have health issues and the smallest a bit of germs...
Read moreMy 13 YO and I stopped in for lunch last Saturday after his coding class. Haven't been to Golden Corral for a while now. So. After learning the one I used to go to had been replaced with a different restaurant we found this one. The greeter was quick to recognize our entrance and assisted with getting us in and providing drinks. As soon as we got seated we were greeted by the waiter who was very friendly. Getting our first plates I quickly recognized how clean the restaurant was kept and very much appreciate this, especially at a buffet! They always have a plethora of items to choose from and my boy and I both left satisfied and full! A unique availability to this location that I found was that they offer slushy as part of their dessert bar. However, they do not provide additional glassware as one may expect. Therefore, options include spooning from a bowl, finishing your initial beverage and using the disposable cup to gather your slush, or seek out the waiter/attendant to pay .50 for a secondary disposable cup, which is what I ended up doing because that blue slush was bomb but I was entirely too full to possibly enjoy it there. Honestly I had requested 2 cups for the two of us, but assume there was a misunderstanding because we got 1 which seems fair for .50 to me. I gave it to my boy and then dumped the remainder of my initial drink into his first cup and just used that for my slush.
While eating I noticed they had a table display card that advertised the availability of a breakfast option on Saturday mornings. (Never tried their breakfast but figured the info may help someone out there.)
Overall feedback:
Quality of food 5/5 ☆
Option availability 5/5 ☆
Seating availability 5/5 ☆
Service 5/5 ☆
Parking availability 5/5 ☆ (good size lot available)
Cleanliness 5/5 ☆ Restrooms: didn't utilize
Handicap Accessibility: If you follow me you know I can't personally say one way or the other with absolute certainty as neither I or anyone within my group have a Handicap at this time. However growing up with a handicapped mother I have an idea of what to look for and feel confident in saying you wouldn't notice any unexpected difficulties when dining at this establishment.

Read moreI DONT LET TO SEE PEOPLE PLAY THE RACE CARD. But, I think race played a role here. First of all, I am not an African American. I have been coming to this location for awhile and I have never seen the experience that I saw at this location before. I was in the line with my family. And I saw a family of six all black in line also. One of the other family kids (black girl) wanted to use the restroom so badly. I asked the attendant at the register to see if the child could use the restroom while the rest of her family waited in line to pay. This awful register, known as Dennisse refused to let the child use the restroom. I asked her why not? She said because they have not paid yet. I told her, ok can they pay now if that's the reason. She said no, they couldn't pay now because it was not their term and didn't want them to cut ahead of the line. I told her that I understand her concerns. But Then, the guy with them offered for Dennisse to hold his credit card till their child returns from the restroom. She told him to wait till she asks her manager if it was ok for their child to use the restroom while they waited in line. All this time, the child was in tears and turning and twisting holding her pee. Of course, she (Dennisse) took her time to ask her manager who told her to let the child use the restroom. When the child left to use the restroom, this awful attendant came back to argue with the guy and the rest of his team about her behavior. When he attempted to explain to her why it was necessary to let the child go, Dennisse just looked at him in a very weird and disgusting manner, and rolled her eyes at him and rudely interrupted and cut him off by saying, "Thank you and have a nice day. Thanks". Then, she told thema, "I dont care what you guys have to say. I am going to do my job". Another customer was in line who said that Dennisse is a very rude person. The other customers said that she is always very rude and short with her customers. She needs to be fired from customer service job. Very horrible service from her today. I will Never go there as long as this kind of behavior is there. But I must admit that the rest of the staff was great, including the manager and the rest of the...
