Don’t come to this El Toro. The service we received tonight was absolutely abysmal. They discriminate against pregnant women. When advising the waitress my plate was incorrect she rolled her eyes and walked away. She brought another plate back that was also incorrect. When I advised her it was fine and I would eat it anyways so I could eat with my family she snatched the plate and walked off to her manager. The manager who was a female in a red shirt came over and smirked at me and attempted to explain the difference between what I ordered and what I received. I said that’s fine I’m happy to eat it anyways so I can eat with my family and that I’m 8 months pregnant and just want to eat. She continued to antagonize me. And at risk of sounding like a “Karen” not only was I humiliated in front of the mostly empty restaurant, not one of us received one apology. The manager and her staff proceeded to point and talk down about me and my family in Spanish not realizing a majority of us also speak Spanish. The things we were called were disgusting. Additionally one of the employees followed us into the parking lot and proceeded to call my sister names and flipped her off. The fact that the staff is enabled by this poor management is atrocious. In all of my years of visiting el toros in Dayton area this is the first time I’ve experience this horrendous of service. The food they did bring me to eat was undercooked. The cheese burrito still had shredded cheese in it that wasn’t melted which shows it wasn’t heated thoroughly.
Additionally, there was a table behind us where the table collapsed on the couple and not one apology was given that we could hear. They all looked around like they didn’t know what to do. I hope they at least comped their meal after the couple sat themselves at another...
Read moreI can’t say I’ve even put a bad review but after our experience, not sure I had much of a choice. Started off by getting sat down and nobody addressing our table for roughly 15 minutes. Finally got drinks. Our server was worried about his boys at the table next to us. They got waited in hand and foot for this 15 minutes. We had no idea who our server was. Once they finished. He then asked us for drinks and food orders. It was over 20 minutes before I had a drink or salsa. After his boys finished eating next to us one of them decided to hang at the bar and talk to him. After other people brought our drink and salsa out. We wanted to order cheese dip. For 20 more minutes nobody stoped to fill drinks and we couldn’t order the dip. Once our food came out the service got better. But his boys had left. It was taco Tuesday and I won’t stiff someone. Just my opinion. Our bill was $56 and some change. We don’t drink alcohol. Helps our bills I’m sure. I handed him $60 and said this is for the bill. Handed him a $20 and said this is your tip. He never brought my change back from the bill. It was only $3 and some change but it’s the principal. Food was ok. My daughters food was as cold. Tacos were good. Since Don patron left beavercreek we have been searching for some solid Mexican. I guess my search continues and I’m just out $80 for crappy service and ok tacos. Plus sick as dog at 3 am. We may try the smaller one down the street! But, the larger one is the worse service I’ve experience in my life. I’ve never left a bad review a day in my life. Today...
Read moreService is absolutely horrible! This is not our first time coming… we came back to give them a second chance and we absolutely will NEVER be back! We were sat and then three other tables were sat after us. Those three tables were then taken care of before us. Those tables had drinks and two had food before we even had a waitress. We sat and waited for over 25 minutes before we even spoke to our waitress. Our food came out before we ever got our drinks. Our drink orders were wrong when we got them. We didn’t order anything special, just basic soft drinks. We ordered queso when we ordered our drinks. We almost didn’t get our queso at all. We were half way done eating by the time they brought it to us. We were there for an hour and 45 minutes. Most of that time we sat and waited without a waiter or waitress to be seen. We ordered fried ice cream, we were brought ice cream on a plate. We did not go during prime dinner time to avoid the rush, so it was not busy at all. It was actually very dead when we got there. Do yourself a favor and go to any other El Toro or even any other Mexican restaurant for...
