I have been a loyal customer since they opened, stopping in 2-3x a week, ordering the same drink & buying bags of their espresso beans to use at home bi-weekly. Yesterday I went thru the drive-thru per usual and had to deal with a snarky barista. She tried to inform me that ordering a small iced latte with an extra shot is the same as ordering a large iced latte. I told her I order the small with an extra shot in a big cup, because I prefer extra ice & the extra shot to increase the coffee to milk ratio. She told me they make my drink the same as they do their large iced lattes AND said something to the effect of “we’re just all really confused when you make it so complicated”. So admitting they are tactlessly talking about me amongst theirselves. She acted like she was doing me this giant favor by letting me in on this secret. She was unresponsive to what I was saying, demeaning in her responses, and overall arguing a point that did not need to be made, nor was accurate. If I’m paying $7 for a latte, it should be consistently good and come without their snarky commentary and opinions. Please learn something about coffee, but more importantly, learn something about customer service. I’ll take my...
Read moreCute coffee shop but my experience was not the greatest. First, I tried to order avocado toast and was told they were out of bread and therefore couldn’t make anything off of the food menu. It was 11am and there were only a few bakery items left so I settled for a muffin with a seasonal latte. I sat down to do work but couldn’t find the WiFi info posted anywhere so I went back up to the counter to ask. The girls were busy working in the back and I don’t anyone could hear me with their headsets on so I waited awhile. By the time they noticed another person was waiting as well. He asked about the bagged coffee and how old it was. Barista replied she thought it was about 2 weeks old to which he complained was a bit old for $16+ dollars. The barista replied that it’s better than the grocery store and if he didn’t like it he didn’t have to buy it… I know he wasn’t the most pleasant customer but the response felt a bit rude for customer service. The coffee was fine but I found the tables to be a bit uncomfortable if you plan to sit and work for a while. I was a bit disappointed given that this was my...
Read moreThis place is “cute” and a much better alternative than the Dunkin’ Donuts across the street. The pastries are good and so it the coffee. But (and here’s why I put in four stars), there’s not an outlet to be seen in the place the furniture is hard and not good for any kind of sitting time. The coffee comes in one size, the parking is extremely limited, and don’t come here when it’s busy. I only counted 18 chairs and the space behind the counter is enormous making me wonder where all the space went. Also, the menu is so small that its super hard to read. I want to give it 5 stars, but I can’t.
Kudos for setting up shop in Beavercreek! I’m happy to see you guys here. I like the coffee I had. The service was good. And I like the lighting. But, I just hope the wrinkles...
