I was there on Saturday morning and received some of the worst service ive ever experienced. First off, or took at least 5 minutes of standing up at the front before a single employee recognized that we where there. I made eye contact with a couple of servers walking by, and no one acknowledged us, even to say they will be with us soon. We finally got a table and it continued to get worse. The server came to our table to take our drink order. I ordered lemonade and my partner ordered coffee. We got those a while later but I had no straw and my partner, no creamer. It took a while for the server to grace us with her presence so we could ask for those items, we never got them, had to ask her twice and then another employee until finally got them. The same thing happened with the silverware..we asked 3 times and didn't get it until well after our food was served. Our server was obviously in a bad mood and even said to us and other tables that today was her last day and she hates her coworkers and she's going to walk out of her shift. It was very awkward and uncomfortable especially since we where receiving really bad service from her. To top it all off my eggs came out basically raw. There was a coating of clear goo (raw egg) on top of the eggs. This whole ordeal took about 1.5 hours, way longer than we wanted to stay, and I had an appointment I needed to get too, so we asked for our check early, and they bought the check for the table behind us instead. Really?! This isn't the first time we have reviewed crap service here and only came back because we live very close by, but I think this will definitely be...
Read moreI really want to like Biscuits Cafe. It is the closest breakfast place to my home/office, and I often eat breakfast out, either by myself (reading email and news), or with others as a breakfast meeting.
However, after repeated tries I just cannot bring myself to like Biscuits Cafe. The service is fine, the food just plain too heavy.
I wish that Biscuit's had better "lite" far, for those of us whop do not want to eat 4, 3, or 2 eggs with Hollandaise sauce.
My litmus test is a vegetable omelet with ham (like a Denver, but I like more veggies, e.g. spinach). Biscuit's omelet is really more like an egg pancake, tick, not a thin wrapper around the filling. I have tried omelets all around the Portland and Beaverton area, and I am surprised to say that iHOP's "Fit&Light" is my favorite - Biscuits' omelet is in the same class as Shari's.
I love corned beef hash - even though I know it is bad for me. Biscuit's "hash" is more like shredded corned beef with a side of potatoes. Tasty in a way, but excessively rich, and really just not what I expect from a corned beef hash.
I really wish that I could like Biscuit's Cafe. But I really must remember not to go there, I am nearly always disappointed.

I agree with the reviewer who said that Biscuit's is Denny's quality - consistently mediocre. Also, much like Shari's, a northwest chain. Biscuit's may be a bit more spic and span, but the food is the same level.
I have nothing against this level - at the moment my favorite place for a relatively healthy omelet is iHOP.
But Biscuit's is a place that I will go out of my...
