I would have to say that Cascadia Heights has one of the best selection of taps. On my days off I grab a pilsner with my dad and enjoy the beer and conversation with the staff; I met Jesse and Rich and they sure know what they are talking about and have such a passion to bring great local taps from the area. I have been to many taphouses in the Portland area and none come close to the Heights. The comradery, conversations, and just their care they bring to each and every one of their customers is awesome especially in a time where service is not reciprocated to customers. I love this place. Great craft beer, lots of friendly people, and the Portland Timbers are always on! Not sure there is anything else needed to be a perfect hang out spot? No, there isn't. But as a bonus, the owners are great and hand out free hugs all the time. Not bro hugs, not the meaningless ones. Warm, one beer drinker to another sincere hugs. I can only imagine, the kind of hug that Samwise would have gave Frodo before he sailed away. Just like the Cascadia Taphouse location the Cascadia Heights location is a great place to grab a beer. It's more that just a great rotating selection of beers and ciders but the sense of community. Jesse, Rich and all their staff make sure you feel like you are always welcomed and a valued customer!
