Pizza Nostra — Restaurant in Oregon

Well that sucked incredibly. I decided to try out this place tonight for the first time. Placed an online order and was given a pickup time. Showed up at that time to find, first of all, 2 out of 3 employees not wearing a mask, even though the state is under a mask mandate. Second of all, my pizza isn’t ready and likely won’t be for at least 20 mins because they have “all these tickets ahead of mine”. Third of all, the apathy displayed by the 3 employees was topped only by the annoyance of one who seemed to be the leader when I cancelled my order and asked for a refund. Forth, they couldn’t even give me a refund for some bizarre, vague explanation. Great stuff, guys. Stellar team indeed.

When the moon hits your eye... like a big pizza pie, that's amore. Happy dance for the food allergy kids that love and miss Za!! Pizza Nostra has a gluten free crust option that does not taste like cardboard. There is also dairy free - vegan cheese available. There is an additional charge for these selections but I am thankful it is an option. The salads are fresh, delicious, and are big enough to share. We had plenty to eat and had leftovers to take home for dinner. The restaurant is clean and comfortable. The staff is super friendly and accommodating to dietary restrictions and order modifications. I’m really bummed to make this not so great review. I was craving a simple cheese pizza with red sauce, so we decided to try Pizza Nostra for the first time. The reviews are amazing and the pictures look delicious. Unfortunately, my pizza was overcooked. It tasted a day old right out of the box. Nice and hot, melty cheese, but tough and hard to chew crust. After a couple minutes the cheese cooled and turned chewy and hard as well. Just overall, not a great experience for me.
