Black Rock Coffee — Restaurant in Beaverton

I showed up here and parked my car because when I do delivery I don't wait in the drive-in. I walked up to the window and waited for the customer standing at the window to make her order. She actually waited about 5 to 6 minutes before they even acknowledged her. The lady who seemed to be running things very stressfully asks one of the ladies to handle the drive-thru and take orders on the pad so she went out there and did that; then she looked at her and said " now take these people here in line outside" So she did. They weren't really that busy. Honestly there was three cars in the Drive-Thru. The lady in there seemed pretty stressed. I don't know why because I've gone there before and she didn't seem like that. So finally I ask her about the order and she looked at me and said yeah we're working on it. So I waited another 5 minutes and she ended up handing the order to the lady who had just ordered about 5 or so minutes before that. I waited a few minutes and then told her " My order was put in before hers and I'm still waiting" she looked at me and rudely said "we prioritize customers who are here first" . I thought that was pretty rude, I wasn't trying to be rude. I was out there shivering it was 36° outside. This customer had two different places I was picking up for. One was coffee, the other was a restaurant for their breakfast. I waited at that restaurant before I picked up their coffee for probably 10, maybe 15 minutes. So this order was put in 20 plus minutes and I got there and still...

This place is really wonderful and the people who work here are the best. When quarantine started, my husband and I were so stir-crazy. We started coming to this Black Rock just to feel like we actually did something in our day, and we're so happy that we did. We have worked with some of the best baristas (All Stars being Mo, Raquel, Cayden, Ainsley, Ashley/Amy (I literally always mess up her name, sorry!) Eshe, Chase... Honestly all of them including those who's names I don't know as well). Our drinks are always perfect -- try the black iced tea with lavender and peach, recommended to me by Amy or black iced tea with grapefruit and honey , recommended to me by Chase. If I could give ZERO stars, I WOULD. I’m a regular that knows Kibo and the way they were treated while I was in the drive thru by someone I assume was in charge, was absolutely DISGUSTING. In charge or not, you do not do what I saw and heard today. Kibo did nothing wrong and was absolutely belittled and torn down by being SCREAMED at across the building and I was not the only car who heard it. Beaverton heard it. Whoever that was that screamed at them needs their job reevaluated. Kibo is a fantastic worker and always has a warm smile and great attitude. And they are FANTASTIC at their job.
