On my third visit to this coffee shop, the service was so rude, that I will never spend another dollar at this business. My guess is that there was some kind of large online order being processed in the background, because there was only one other person in the dining area and the man at the register could barely be bothered to greet us. I recognize, after over twenty years in VERY HIGH VOLUME customer service myself, that everyone is doing their best. However, the person preparing the coffees could not execute the basic functions of the role, such as announcing the drink being served for pick-up or assisting customers in identifying their drink among the items sitting there to be picked up so that someone else doesn't walk away with your coffee leaving you to ask the barista where it is. So you ask her "Where's my drink?" And she says, "I put it there." And you find it on some other customer's table...like who's responsibility is it to manage the distribution of the drinks? Perhaps announcing it above a whisper would be helpful. Actually the barista seemed liked she hated being there, hates that job and everyone who showed up to buy coffee is just an inconvenience to her. Cool. Read moreTo the owners; if your cafe is completely dead and you have one drink order, you need to make sure to let your barista know! You were both facing the front and talking to the barista for 20 minutes before someone else was served a non espresso drink ahead of me. The barista went to make my drink after you left and something was apparently wrong with the machine. I apologize to the barista I was cross with, I was frustrated at the situation and I realize now that it wasn’t your issue in the slightest. I have no doubt that you know customers come first and I thank you for your patience. The owners should have had your back! Thank you for dealing with me with grace. OWNERS! You have a great staff, you need to support them! The one star is for you...
Read moreWe've been here a few times, but today was the first time we dined in. This is the only place in Beaverton that I know of that has Pão de queijo (Brazilian cheese bread). I've gotten the chicken fajita, spinach, & cheese sandwich every time, which is always a delicious breakfast or snack. As someone who doesn't drink coffee, I tried their iced chai latte today and loved it. There are lots of goods and snacks in the back corner of the shop as well.
The staff is incredibly friendly in this cozy little shop.
If you haven't tried Pão de queijo before, you're not living life to...
