I had the worst experience ordering a pizza at Papa Murphy's from this location that I have ever had. First, I was BAITED to use the mobile app to order a pizza for a discount. I ordered the pizza at 5:15 pm and received confirmation that the pizza would be ready at 5:45. I arrived at the store at 5:30, so I decided to go next door and purchase a few groceries of which included ice and ice cream. By the time I arrived to pick up the pizza, it was 5:50. When I walked in I was one of about 15 people waiting for pizzas. A person asked for my name and began to look for my pizza. I watched as she looked for the pizza and then when she couldn't find it she disappeared into the frenzy of other employees and never came back to me to update me as to where my pizza was. By this time it was 6:00. I began to overhear other people talking about problems with their orders, specifically the ones they placed online or with the mobile app. I talked to one person who had been waiting for a pizza she ordered at 5:30 and she was promised her pizza next which of course confused me because I had placed my order before her. At this time I walked to the register and asked another employee where my pizza was and she located a ticket for it in a pile of others and moved it to the top and told me it was now being made. By this time it was now 6:15, my ice and ice cream were slowly melting and I still had no pizza. I asked if they could please hurry because my ice and ice cream were melting and an employee replied, "We're real busy, we'll make it as quickly as possible." Finally I received my pizza and departed the store at 6:35, A FULL 50 MINUTES AFTER THE PIZZA WAS PROMISED. Poor service Papa Murphy's, I won't be ordering online or through...
Read moreThis location is one of the smaller shops I've seen for a Papa Murphys. Usually you don't need that much space, however the few times I've been in here its been a bit crowded (dinner time rush?).
This time I did schedule/pay for a pickup @530pm. The order was placed around 200pm that afternoon. When I got to the place, I noticed the lady in front of me saying she'd come back in a bit because it wasn't ready yet. So I figured, maybe it's just her who may not have ordered online. But she had indeed ordered online and it wasn't ready for her when she arrived. So when they asked my name, they said they were working on it. I waited.
I got my pizza about 13 minutes after 530pm. No big deal really. However, it could have been. The point of ordering online is to have it prepared at the time of pickup. Maybe they were just having a bad/busy day and it pushed all the pizzas back? Not sure, but I think that should be taken care of. It probably would have been just around 15 if I ordered it...
Read moreIf you are craving pizza, and don’t mind placing it in your oven at home, Papa Murphy’s is the place to go.
I am a huge pizza fan overall and usually enjoy dining out, but with COVID-19, Papa Murphy’s has been the only pizza parlor that I feel safe eating from. Although Papa Murphy’s is of course a chain, I feel that the Murray location is doing the best job to keep its customers safe. They have moved all of their order pick-ups to the front of the store, so customers barely have to step inside. If that wasn’t enough, they’re also offering curbside pick-up on their online orders, which all you have to do is call upon arrival and they will bring it out.
Thank you Papa Murphy’s. Your food is consistently good and your efforts to continue improving while COVID-19 is going...
