Pizzicato Pizza Murray Hill — Restaurant in Beaverton

Pizzicato is my favorite pizza, and that's saying something. I eat a lot of pizza! The sauce, the cheese, the crust, the variety of toppings, Pizzicato stands out in every way with outstanding quality and taste. I've been eating regularly at various Pizzicato locations for years, and very rarely have I been disappointed. The staff is generally very friendly. I love the seasonal pizzas. The only reason that this is a 4-star review is I have recently twice attempted to order a cheese pizza with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes added after baking and both time have received the order incorrectly. The first time the tomatoes were cooked onto the pizza, soaking everything in tomato juice and making a soggy mess, the second time they left the regular shredded mozzarella off the cheese pizza, only adding fresh mozzarella before baking! These kind of mistakes with the most classic pizza ingredients are kind of embarrassing for a place of this caliber. These incidents aside though, there are few restaurants that I can recommend as easily as Pizzicato.

Update: unfortunately I have been having a lot more issues here lately. Almost every time I order they are way off on their time estimates. The last two times I came in they said "Just a couple more minutes" and then I had to wait literally 20-25 minutes. The second time they came over and said "just 5 more minutes" after that 20 minute wait. It's just getting ridiculous. They seem like they are less organized than before. One of my items is usually much colder than the other, which is probably also related to those weird estimates. It's just not worth what they're charging anymore with this level of service...

This is all for and about Billie! February 28, 2024 Tonight myself and my two children (5 and 6) entered into the restaurant to be greeted by the most amazing genuine customer service I’ve seen in a long time!! Big wonderful smile and cheerful also extremely helpful! She made a point to interact with my children making sure our every need was met. She gave us a crayons and a big stack of paper for the kids to draw on. As we waited I observed her give that stellar service to each and every customer who entered. She brightened absolutely everyone’s evening who came through that door. So much so each customer made a point to thank her and say goodbye before they exited. It became busy as we waited the staff was visibly frazzled by a couple back to back errors. Billie was stead fast kept it cool never showed an ounce of worry just jumped into action and delivered excellent customer service to all the smile never leaving her face and finding the time to come check on us even in the chaos. I don’t how much she is compensated for her work but I do know how ever much it is it is not near what she deserves! Billie seems to be a natural leader and a truly amazing human! If she is not the manager I definitely would ensure that process is started quickly! Guaranteed you won’t find anyone better! Thank you so so much Billie! Me and the kids are excited to see you...

I just finished placing a Pizzicato delivery order using the DoorDash app, but didn’t see an option to add on extra dressing for my salad, even though I was more than willing to pay extra for it.

So I decided to just call the restaurant directly to see if someone could please add on the extra condiment and then charge the difference to the same card I’d just used to pay for my meal.

The background noise sounded like they were getting slammed, yet the woman who answered the phone, Billie, still took the necessary time to be both courteous and helpful.

And even though there was no quick fix for my issue, at least not in the way I had described, she still assured me that she would personally see to it that the extra dressing would be put in with my order.

This might seem like a small thing to some, but good customer service is incredibly scare these days. So when someone actually “gets it”, and then proceeds to do the right thing, not because it’s the easiest, but simply because it’s the right thing to do?…

Now THAT deserves a 5 star Yelp-out!

Oh yeah, and PS - I suppose they also make pretty darn good pizza, too. I mean, if you’re into that kind...
