Las Americas Mexican/Peruvian Restaurant — Restaurant in Bedford Heights

Today I went with my family and we had an unpleasant day at the restaurant. The waitress we had today is the worst waitress, her name is Paula. She was very rude, with very little education. Every time we asked her for something it took her a long time to get back to us and she started talking to other waitresses and wasting time apparently she didn't want to do her job. She never came to see if we need anything else and when we asked for something else she showed annoyance on her face and in a rude way she gave us the things. She got the orders wrong and made us wait a long time to bring the correct order. It's a shame because of her behavior they will end up losing many clients if she doesn't change her charisma and learns how to speak English. I noticed how she got angry with people who spoke English and she answered them in Spanish. If you are American and don't speak Spanish, you will meet rude people like Paula. . The food never disappoints that’s for sure but the only thing to add on to is the waiting time, now I understand we are not the only customers in the restaurant and the staff gotta serve others as well but I really thought the wait duration was bad with the lack of attention. Today I went for my birthday I went with my husband we waited almost 15 minutes just to get seated while each staff was just passing by us :/ maybe there was staff shortage that day. But don’t expect to get noticed right away in this place from what I learned you have to speak up or else you will be left waiting for longer, then to get our order after we got seated 15 minutes. Just the whole process of getting your food was very slow then bringing your bill back. I think this place maybe needs to hire more staff. The staff were nice but just the lack attention due to lack of staff and over ratio of customers does affect...

I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the experience. I was recommended a steak entrée from the Peruvian side of the menu, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly tender, full of flavor, and complemented by incredible sauces that tied the whole dish together.

I also enjoyed a margarita made with 1800 tequila, which was refreshing and balanced just right. The service was excellent—the server was warm, attentive, and made spot-on recommendations. I also really appreciated how accommodating they were with my low-carb/keto requests—they happily substituted beans for me without hesitation.
