What a fun find! A friend and I decided to see what was along our route on the way to French Lick for a conference. We found Apron Strings Diner, and we were not disappointed. Food was delicious and had a fun twist to the dishes we tried - quinoa and grilled veggies with a soft yolk fried egg and taco quiche. The pineapple cookies are to die for - so soft and moist and delicious, and the prices were to good to be true. Atmosphere spoke clearly to the name and was kitschy without being over done. Loved the mix match of tables, chairs, etc. Added a fun vibe to the rather small and quaint room without mak8ng it feel even smaller.

Tucked away in an industrial area just off of John Williams Blvd in Bedford is the best little gem of a breakfast place in town. Family owned and operated, fresh ingredients, never ending coffee, just grab your cup on the way in! The everything omelette is delicious, and light. Portion sizes are perfect. The hash brown casserole is a must. Apron Strings is the only place I would go for breakfast in town.

GREAT homemade food! This is a very small diner, but the food is off the charts delicious. Decent table service. Prices are extremely reasonable, my grandmother and I had lunch/brunch for $11. Thats total, not each! The specials vary, but I had the bacon tomato quiche and oh my word! It was heavenly. Will definitely go back!

First time at the new location. Wasn't sure about seating. So we asked and found a table towards the back. We sat there about 10 minutes and a gentleman took our order. Ten minutes later another server checked on us and we told them we had ordered. Another ten minutes a different server came and checked on us. We asked about our drinks and they said they would check on it. About 20 minutes later our food arrived. We asked about our drinks and they went and got them. While waiting for our drinks we realized we didn't get our toast so when they returned with the drinks they went and got that. The food was good but it didn't seem like there was much structure and that is were people get missed. Like a table up front with football players sat down about 5 mins after us and had there order taken almost immediately after they sat down and there food arrived quickly...

I had heard a lot about this place and so I was excited to try it with my partner. The atmosphere/decor is charming of a little gauche. The numerous aprons on the wall definitely set a theme, but there could actually be even more because the blank spaces feel off. I do however love the random mugs and salt shakes-gives it a real "grandma's kitchen" vibe. I also love fun mugs. My partner and I loved the biscuits and gravy and were really impressed by the flavor as it was so well balanced and buttery. The potatoes however were underwhelming. A little too soft for my taste and under-seasoned-but I guess that's my job. The red velvet coffee cake was probably the standout item that we ordered however. The coffee was a bit too watery for my taste but I have pretty extreme taste in coffee. I would definitely go again. The prices are...

I've had the pleasure of eating at many establishments near by as I travel through this area frequently. Today I thought I would try out what looked like a local hot spot. My experience is among the worst I've ever had at an establishment. Apon entering the restuarant the place was packed. As a table was cleared we (my group of 3) took a seat and waited patiently for a server. Several waitresses helped the tables around us, greeted new customers cleared tables, and even made another round to other tables. I literally felt like I was segregated against. An overwhelming feeling of we dont serve your kind around here. We sat for nearly 12 minutes being ignored expect for the occasional glance our way....i will never ever go here again and i will recommend to everyone I know to stay clear of such an...
