As far as fast food goes, this McDonald’s is pretty good. The redesign looks good, though some of the seats are very uncomfortable. The food is, well, McDonald’s. If you were expecting super high quality food, you’ll be disappointed. But if you go in with the understanding that the food here tastes just like the food at 99% of other fast food places, you’ll be satisfied.
The place is usually clean, and when it is, it definitely looks better than many places, specifically Wendy’s and Taco Bell. That said, it doesn’t always seem clean, usually around busy times (which I understand), and when it doesn’t look clean, it looks pretty bad.
The staff have always been friendly, but since the introduction of the self serve kiosks, I think they’re more visible and thus it feels like they’ve been friendlier more recently.
I’m really glad we got kiosks now, as it allows me to make my order like I want it, without having a cashier potentially misunderstand me or mishear me. Before I get a response that they’re “taking away jobs,” they didn’t. There are just as many cashiers at any given time now as there were before.
My only major complaint is that they have Fox News on the television all day, which is contributing to the increase of uneducated people in the community.
Anyway, all of that is to say that this McDonald’s is amazingly average, and I’d recommend it if you’re needing...
Read moreThis is not with only Bedford, but generally all McDonalds I have been too. And the his might been my fault, but I think it’s who they hire in general. My allergies to milk products are pretty high, and can become even fatal. Every time I go, I always order a Double Quarter pounder no cheese plain only lettuce. (Unfortunately allergic to tomatoes too, which closes my throat also). Almost every time, I get cheese onto it. I even stopped ordering the lettuce to make it easier so I didn’t get a burger with cheese. There has been a couple of close calls, when I forgot to look. But if you look at these pictures, you’ll see exactly what I mean. But unfortunately from now on, I’m going to Burger King or Taco Bell. McDonald’s had a better burger, but I’m not risking myself for people that don’t know how follow the label that they had created. ((By the way, would have brought it back like I had done a couple of times, but when I turned around they had blocked the 24hr drive thru)(also in Linton I had turned around a drove through the drive thru 7 to 9 times pay for new burgers till they got it right....
Read moreAWFUL Night time service. Placed an order on the app at 12:03, just after midnight. It was just a $5 dollar meal, double cheeseburger, 4 nuggets, small fry and a small drink. After I told them my order code, I heard the woman say oh no under her breath. I get to the first window and she said he has to talk to her manager. I then hear manager say “I don’t care, it’s not my fault, I’m not making it”. The window attendant proceeds to tell me they can’t make my order because I got here too late because the menu changes at midnight, and that I need to cancel the order and place another order based off the different menu. Then someone else came up and said I got here too late, had I arrived at 11:59 they could have made my order but I was too late. I placed it at 12:03am….. how was I suppose to arrive before 11:59. I understand the menu changes at certain times and some deals go away but it’s not my fault that your corporate app allowed me to place the order.
