Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Beech Grove

I PAID for the food! Lets get this straight I PAID for my food! See receipt pictures!

I got the $6 fish basket small diet Pepsi in the drive thru. Asked for lots of Tarter and ketchup.

I got 3 packets of tarter.

Fish was burnt and small like oil hadnt been filtered or changed in a week! I used to work for Long Johns I know the job.

I went to shady spot in the parking lot to eat wasnt happy with the burnt fish but she gave me 11 hush puppies so I let the terrible fish go, but I only had 3 packets of tarter sauce, so I drove up to the front of the store and took the basket I had just PAID for inside to squirt some tarter sauce in it!

The front line lady came running at me yelling im not allowed to do that, I tried to tell her I PAID for food and she knew I did as she waited on me at the drive thru just 2 minutes before!

But no she kept yelling at me so I yelled back as I squerted as much tarter sauce as I could, way more than I needed or even planned on getting, but I figured if she was going to start something with me after I PAID for the food, by yelling at me, I would get what I PAID for!

Then the guys in the back came at me chasing me out the door.

I got the receipt and made a video in the car of what happened. Im sending that to their corperate offices.

Much like most of the restaurants in the older beech Grove area this one is having its problems. We arrived to find that the dining room was closed due to insufficient personnel to be able to staff. I now see a pattern starting. We sat in a drive-through line for almost 30 minutes and a employee came out afterwards start going car to car telling everyone that they were down to one fryer and that they couldn't keep up that they were closing the restaurant and we would have to leave. Now why in the world any manager who was competent enough to manage would not have made that decision early on and shut it down so people didn't have to wait so long I don't know. I don't know why they wouldn't have give some sort of gift certificates or something so the next time you come it can make it up to you they didn't do this either. This is a true sign of both incompetent and poor management I imagine this has been once again franchise down to somebody doesn't have a clue how to run a restaurant. They probably don't live here they're probably foreign and they don't get it. Unfortunately I like Long John silver's it's a good product and when prepared properly it tastes really good. I love Long John Silver's so this was pretty depressing. First I understand the staffing issue with not many people wanting to work, but the line was literally wrapped around the restaurant and some people couldn't even back out to leave that were inside. I had five cars in front of me and four behind me and orders were being cooked one at a time so it was literally a 40 minute wait!! The speaker didn't work and there was a sign that you had to pull up and order at the window. The line was just a disaster! I ended up just sending my husband inside the restaurant from the drive-thru line and even then it took at least 15 minutes or so!! With the food I know their chicken has a special type of batter and this happened to be very very crispy this time and made it a little more difficult to eat. The chicken itself was also a bit tough, perhaps somewhat overcooked. The hush puppies were definitely overcooked! Mainly a ball of grease and hardly any breading at all! My strawberry cheesecake dessert was literally thrown in with the food so it was pretty warm when it came time to eat it. I'm really sad when I say this but I was overall very dissatisfied with the entirety of it.
