A horrifying experience to regulars that have been coming to this Belleview ice cream staple before I was born. 27 years my mom has brought us to this ice cream place. I’ve loved this ice cream shop since I was a kid. Tonight we were served by unkind, unprofessional workers who were moving at a VERY slow pace & showed zero hospitality. After patiently waiting behind 3 cars for 25 minutes, it was our turn. The employee had attitude to begin with, but my Mom tipped the worker before we’d gotten our cones to show gratitude for working. The employee used the wrong cone & when we needed the cone corrected, he became aggressive and slammed the window shut. He didn’t do two scoops like we paid for, and when we asked another employee to correct it, she became confrontational and insisted they couldn’t fix the cone. That it was against “management policy.” Without taking no for an answer she then refused to finish the rest of the order, threw our money back at us and then claimed to be the manager. She then said we were banned from the ice cream place & she would call the cops if we “didn’t get the hell out of her drive thru”. I can remember being greeted with warm friendly faces for YEARS. This situation was COMPLETELY mishandled and was incredibly unnecessary. It did not need to escalate the way it did. I had a gift card from before the location closed, and now that it has reopened, I wanted to treat my daughter to some ice cream to celebrate her last day of school. When I went to place our order, I simply asked if the gift cards were still being accepted. Instead of receiving a polite explanation, three different employees abruptly shouted, “No gift cards!” at me.
I was taken aback by how dismissive and unprofessional the response was. Not only was it confusing and upsetting, but it left me wondering—what happens to the money that was put onto that gift card? Is it now worthless?

Read moreStopped with my husband and daughter tonight to get some ice cream. They got sundaes and enjoyed them. I ordered a peach milkshake. Unfortunately, there was nothing peach about it. There are no fruit pieces or natural peach flavoring, rather they add liquid peach flavoring to vanilla ice cream and blend it. My shake had so much of this artificial flavoring in it that I was unable to eat it. It had a horrid taste, two sips in and I had to chuck it in the trash at the Wawa. I would have gone back to have them fix it but they were busy tonight and I didn't want to spend another 10 minutes in a line. We have had a couple bad experiences at Ms. Stevie's and were hoping that they had improved since we were there last(6~ months).
