I want all the Seattleites to try this bowl of ramen

My family frequent the Main St location when they first opened as Kukai. We used to go once per week or every other week. Once we figured out what we liked, we generally order the same each time. Since Kizuki opened at Bellevue Square, I have been there three times in a span of about a year+; each time telling myself and the family to never go back. This last time was just ridiculous. It was at approximately 7:30pm on a Saturday night. It wasn't overly crowded, but we had to wait about 30 minutes for seating. It took a very long time for the server to get to our table. I don't have exact timing, but I would estimate about 4x or 5x longer than a usual outing at the Main St location. Of the different dishes that we ordered, one was Agadashi tofu. We asked our server to not include bonito flakes and ginger. He asked whether we wanted green onions on it. We replied that we wanted everything else the same, just don't include bonito flakes or ginger. I noticed he was writing things down on his paper. I also asked for green tea, as I always do. Also, throughout the meal, we were never asked for tea refill. The first item to arrive are the green tea. The "green tea" at this location is a little different than the one on Main St. I don't know why the green tea here tastes like watered down oolong. I've discussed this issue with the manager from the previous visit, but I guess this is their version of green tea. All I ask is to be consistent with their Main St location. It took awhile for the rest of the dishes to arrive. The next was Agadashi tofu. You, as the reader, should do an internet search for this dish and look at various images compared to what we received. We received just plain fried tofu with the sauce on the side. We were expecting tofu with green onions and grated daikon, all sitting in a sauce. We explained what we ordered to the person who brought the dish out, and she took the Agadashi tofu back. She brought it back out with just green onion and daikon. Since they already brought the sauce out earlier, she said that we can pour the sauce into the container. Other items we ordered were chicken wings and tempura. We usually get individual appetizer plates, but not this time. I was already annoyed that I didn't want to ask for the plates. I have already made up my decision that this was the last time for this location. My ratings for the Bellevue Square location: food: 4/5 cleanliness: 4/5 service: 0/5 Suggestions to improve: 1. Pay attention to what customers order. 2. Be consistent with other locations. 3. Serve real green tea (matcha or genmai matcha) at all locations.

I ate at the Kizuki location in Bellevue Square for lunch. The location is within the mall. We were seated rather quickly and the server brought over a menu. The ordering of food and the meal itself went somewhat unremarkably. Some of the food was better than others, but nothing to warrant any complaints. The Gekikara Ramen was a bit too spicy and the pork kind of dried out. The Chicken Karaage Salad was a bit too overseasoned. The Takoyaki and the Tonkotsu Ramen were good (except the pork was a bit dried out to the this ramen as well). The service itself was poor since the waiter did not wear a mask and when taking our orders, bent down and talked into our waters and our utensils (his mouth was about 2 feet above the water), which was still a bit of "too close for comfort". I circumvented this issue by casually asking another waiter for two more glasses of water and new set of utensils shortly after. Here is my gripe. When I ordered the food from the menu and when I asked for the check, at no time was I told the prices on the menu price was different than what I will actually be charged for. At the end of our meal, I asked for the check. The waiter (the same one that spoke into our water and utensils) came over and gave us the total without any itemized receipt. I asked for the itemized receipt while giving him the card. He swiped my card first and then gave me the itemized receipt. Upon checking, I found the receipt price and menu price was different. I asked him about it (see attached photo of receipt and menu). He told me that it was due to COVID the prices are different and that needed to be updated. He also told me since it was paid, he couldn't cancel the transaction, so he forcefully gave me two bottles of drinks. He basically asked if I like "calpico", and I had no idea what that was, so I just answered no, I don't drink, thinking it was beer. He went and got two bottles anyways and just gave it to me and said just try it anyways and then left.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a delightful ramen spot, and I must say it was an extraordinary experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and attentive waiter, Sebastian, who set the tone for the entire meal.

The ramen itself was a masterpiece. The broth was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of savory and umami flavors. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and vibrant. It was evident that the chef took great care in crafting each bowl.

But what truly elevated this dining experience was the exceptional service provided by Sebastian. He was not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely passionate about the food he served. He took the time to explain the different ramen options and even made personalized recommendations based on our preferences. Throughout the meal, he ensured that our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed.

Sebastian's attention to detail and his warm, friendly demeanor made the evening unforgettable. It's not often that you come across a waiter who goes above and beyond to enhance your dining experience.

In conclusion, this ramen spot not only serves exceptional food but also boasts an outstanding staff member in Sebastian. If you're looking for a culinary adventure with impeccable service, I highly recommend giving this place a visit. It's a true gem in the world of...
