UPDATE: THEY CHARGED ME $446! (SEE THE PHOTO, THAT $446 CHARE IS ALREADY THE COMPLETED TRANSACTION, NOT PENDING) AND CRAZY THING IS STILL HAVE ANOTHER $180 FROM THEIR HOTEL CHARGING IS PENDING. AND PEOPLE FROM HOTEL REFUSED TO HELP. NO ONE WORKING IN THE HOTEL CAN HELP. AND KEPT LYING THAT WHEN I CHECKED IN, AUTOMATICALLY CANCELLED THE PRICELINE BOOKING. WHICH NOT! KEPT SAYING ONLY WAIT FOR GENERAL MANAGER COMING BACK. WHO SEEMS ON VACATION. SO THERE'S NO SINGLE OTHER PERSON FROM THIS HILTON HOTEL CAN HELP WITH THIS RIDICULOUS DOUBLE CHARGES. THIS IS INSANE. It was a nightmare. I booked through Priceline for two nights so already prepaid for $398. Booked from check in. 11/22 check out 11/24. On the arrival of 11/22 at check in, they had power outage, but promised to power back by midnight. So we still checked in, they manually. And then 23 morning, still no power, the room was so stuffy during the sleep. And morning no “complementary breakfast” as I booked the hotel for. The power back when we came back after noon on 23rd. The front desk (same person checked me in on 22nd who knew I prepaid and booked for two nights already), told me she needed to put me in system now, so I gave her my card. She didn’t say ANYTHING at this point, didn’t mention accidental charge didn’t ask anything about booking or checking, so I didn’t think there would be anything wrong. And on 24th morning, when my husband took my son to go breakfast, the front desk (a guy) checked the system and said, oh you didn’t have complementary breakfast, and my husband showed him the Priceline booking confirmation, he said oh it’s just not in system, then he said also you didn’t pay accidental charge. So he swiped our card again, and told my husband there’s $260 accidental charge. (Which supposed to be $50 per night, but my husband didn’t know), so just let him. And after we checked out that day, I checked my bank account, they charge me $180, and $260. I called, no person answered from hotel for whole day. And I reached to the Hilton department and they checked for me and said system showed that front desk on 23rd just “booked” me one night when I gave her card. And they needed to contact the hotel to refund. But after two days waiting, finally got hold of the front desk, they said they couldn’t see those charges now, they can only see I booked one night there. They just can’t do anything. So they don’t admit my pre-paid, and don’t admit they charged me $260 for so called accidental charge (where supposed to be $50 per night but just didn’t add up anything how di this $260 number come from) and said also couldn’t find the $180 they charged me either. So just refused to help. And said the manager won’t be back till Thursday. This is just INSANE situation. They just charged me over $450 and pretended nothing they can do. And I didn’t even talk about their power outrage we had horrible staying that night. The whole building was down, even no emergency lights at stairs even. And with all that, they dared to double charge the stay, and put $260 random number as accidental charge, and in the end just saying “oh I couldn’t help. Nothing I can do”. This...
Read moreIn Hilton Garden Bellevue be ready for attempts to double charge for breakfast (we had breakfast included from Expedia). Looks like front desk not familiar with Expedia packages. (From Expedia - Weekend on-the-go breakfast available 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for a fee: USD 19.95 PER PERSON).|For a week every day breakfast included: main-fried potato, eggs, bacon + flavored yogurt, bagels, fruits and not fresh pastries - every day the same no changes (except cold drinks). Be aware, especially if you travel with kids and want to stay for many days in Hilton. Breakfast oriented on one night stand with additional purchase (from "47 North bistro") if you wish to have a good breakfast. |In last bill we got charges for "47 North bistro" and we thought (it was marked just "47 North bistro") they trying to charge us for breakfast again but it turned out gratuity (added gratuity around 30%). |Parking-|- will cost you $40 + 10% misc. tax. We arrived at 11:20p.m. (40 min before midnight) and we were charged $40+4 for 40 min. parking in their garage as for a whole day.|All parking cost us $264 (in last bill) when on Parkopedia shown different price $222.|Why it is so hard to show all prices on Hilton website with all fee/taxes/surcharges. |Room cleaning-|- we asked to change beds and clean rooms (we had 2 rooms), when we came back:|-sheets were NOT CHANGED! (after 3 days that we stayed already and 2 more days we would stay) just made bad (with the same sheets we had for 3 days !!).|Room floor was NOT vacuumed (in our 2nd room =same situation).|When we arrived - there were black stains in sink (under countertop) they stayed there when we were departure (no good cleaning before, and in time of our stay). Glass shower (at the bottom) - had some growing "colorful" activity too. |We are not picky and do not hesitate to clean a little, but what we noticed was not missed spot it was not cleaned spaces for some time (weeks or maybe months).|Some towels were yellowish in color compare to white ones.|All that together contributed for our experience rate (most disappointment about room...
Read moreTerrible experience, lovely hotel. Guest relations was an absolute nightmare. The hotel charged me twice for my room, at one point over $690 was taken from my account for a room that was only $175. When I brought it to the attention of the hotel staff they said no, they only charged once and to wait until the next morning (my check out day and also the day of my daughters celebration). Next day comes, still no money and they are still saying they didn’t take anything out of my account. Later that day, after I had to cancel the vacation bc of my funds being unavailable, I called and spoke with the manager, Lucas. Worst customer experience of my life. He, in short, argued with me and called me a liar without saying the words. I finally got my bank on the phone, where he proceeded to argue with them as well. Once complete and he understood they DID take my money, the bank apologized that I had to deal with such terrible customer service. Lucas promised to call merchant services immediately and update me ASAP. He didn’t. 2 hours later I called for an update and he hadn’t done anything yet. Next day comes and as promised still no update. I call later that evening and he says they will have it taken care of and he will refund my $26 bar tab for my inconvenience, I laughed. This ruined a celebration for my daughter and cost me hours of time. Then, all the charges are reversed, I call the hotel and thank him and he said that I will see no other charges, meaning he took care of my room for the inconvenience, well NOPE! They charged my card again today. To top it off, Lucas is denying any wrong doing still. I’ve called in a formal complaint, they said I’d get call back in 24 hours, it’s been 3 days. What a terrible experience. Don’t stay here!
I wasn’t going to write a review bc things do happen, but the way they have handled this and the complete non chelant attitude towards my time, effort and experience has me in tears.
It’s been days and not once have they done anything to prove that they care what they did to my family. Terrible...
