I'm quite surprised by the numerous recent negative comments about this hotel, and unfortunately, I share a similar experience. We checked out yesterday after our stay and have stayed at other AC hotel’s location.
Location: The location is, without a doubt, amazing. It's conveniently walkable to many food options. 5/5 ⭐️
Room: My first impression was positive; the room appeared modern. The bathroom, specifically, didn't bother me at all. Didn’t really watch TV that much. I’m sure it’s not the best, didn’t have high expectation. 5/5 ⭐️
Cleanliness: I question whether pillowcases are changed between guests. On our first night, I noticed a distinct perfume scent on the pillow. It would be deeply concerning and frankly gross if the hotel neglected to change them. I didn't even bother requesting a change. On our last day, I was shocked to discover makeup foundation stains on our bedsheet. As I didn't bring any makeup foundation on this trip, I know it wasn't from me.
Another note, I did see orange build up at the corner of the shower close to the both corners of the door and the other side of the glass corner. Now thinking back it’s pretty gross to think that part isn’t cleaned properly. Orange build up is usually caused by a mix of soap scum, body oils, hard water, and high humidity. I won’t be surprise eventually there will be mold growing since there is 0 air ventilation in the bathroom. When there’s mold growing at the corner of the showers. This will become a bigger health risk to people to inhale. I really think that the hotel really needs to look into the air ventilation. I don’t think I would want to stay at a hotel that has mold growing due to lack of air ventilation. 1/5 ⭐️
Poor Air Ventilation: As others have noted, the lack of air ventilation is a significant issue. My room had little to no airflow. The AC didn't work, nor did the bathroom fan. Consequently, all the hot air and steam from the shower permeated the room, and the lingering odor was quite unpleasant until it eventually dissipated. 0/5 ⭐️
Staff: The front desk staff were pleasant during both check-in and check-out. I have no strong opinions otherwise. 5/5 ⭐️
Elevator: We had no issues with the elevators; they were neither exceptionally fast nor slow, and thankfully, we didn't experience any breakdowns. 5/5 ⭐️
Parking: Only valet parking is available, priced at $49 or $59 per night. While this is a bit steep, it's understandable for a downtown location where self-parking is scarce. Amenities: The complimentary Starbucks coffee and the 24/7 gym were welcome bonuses. 3/5 ⭐️
Overall: While the hotel has a pleasant and appealing aesthetic, it desperately needs to address fundamental issues with cleanliness, specifically ensuring all covers and sheets are clean and stain-free. Furthermore, the air ventilation and circulation system, particularly the bathroom fan and AC, must be functional. Having bathroom odors permeate the room is genuinely...
Read moreAs a platinum Ellie member, I’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels, of all levels. The good: The hotel is in a good location in downtown Bellevue and a lot of places are walkable. The hotel is clean.
The bad Be prepared for the parking. They have no self park options and the valet is $50/day. Yes, $50 😳 I called previously and was told they had cribs for babies. They do not. They were able to find me a pack n play but it was too uncomfortable for her to sleep in. I had to put up barriers around the bed and place her in the middle of the bed. It was nerve wracking. Despite having a high level status, none of my benefits could be used here. For example, their website says breakfast is included. But even if it wasn’t, platinum Elite status gets you free breakfast. When we checked in, I was told that because this is a business hotel (whatever that means) I couldn’t get free breakfast. And when the website said breakfast was included, what they meant was that it was included for $21 per person per day. The bathroom door in our room was broken and when closed, wouldn’t open. We kept getting stuck in the bathroom and it would take multiple people to pry open the door. Luckily the front desk was able to send up someone to fix it. The TV never worked. You could turn it on but it was pixelated. We mentioned this to the front desk but they said it was a known issue because it was windy. It did not resolve in the 4 days we were there. There was some sort of gas leak. The hallways reeked of natural gas and we informed the front desk. Nothing happened so we called again at the end of the day. Eventually they said that they didn’t think it was a leak in the hotel but in the nearby construction and that it was wafting in through the ventilation system so there was nothing they could do. Very comforting. Luckily, we didn’t blow up. The hotel was in the middle of a construction zone and the front entrance let out into a creepy alleyway. It was very strange for a hotel and something I would have expected with a low end motel. I had a difficult time deciding if the hotel was old or new. It was clean but decorated like it was 1970. Everything was dark woods and browns. There was no overhead lighting but a few scattered lamps. The rooms were very small. There was no tub which normally I wouldn’t care but it’s very hard to bathe a baby without one. I tried unsuccessfully to do it in the sink.
Overall, it’s not a bad hotel but it’s not one I’d stay at again. I stayed here to save money but ironically the more expensive Marriott hotels would have cost us less in the long run because my status benefits would have worked. It’s definitely not...

Hotel still owes me 113.35$ and it’s a very frustrating experience trying to resolve it over the phone with the staff.
First of all , I booked the hotel with the crib reservation a month ahead. Most hotels would put the crib into the room before your arrival and confirm or reply to you by message so you can plan accordingly . However , nobody replied to my messages within a month and the crib wasn’t there . When I checked it , I’ve asked for the crib again and I’ve been told by Grace that it will be provided and someone would come over and install it . 4 hours later I had to call again and request it again as nothing had happened . The maid just dropped off a box and was gonna walk away so when I asked to assemble it , the attitude was like she was doing me an insane favour .
Anyways, I was asked by Grace if I’m parking the car with the hotel and she made it seem like there’s no change and everything is included with the total charge , so I said yes . A few minutes later, when I was taking out my baggages from my car , I’ve noticed there’s a 50$ valet parking charge banner . I came back and reconfirm the separate charge for parking and only then she confirmed about it, so I asked her to remove the parking as there’s tonnes of them around for much cheaper . She said it’s all good and she’ll take care of it . Next day when I checked out I’ve discovered a 59.50$ parking charge on the check out statement and I’ve reminded about it again and was promised to get reimbursement . I checked out on August 4th It’s been a week already and I’ve been assured that I’ll get reimbursed but the charge has been posted and there’s no refunds . I’ve called the hotel a few times during the week and I’ve been told it’s been refunded but it’s a lie . It hasn’t been returned. I got a hold of Grace and she asked me to give her my credit card details so she can do the refund . A couple minutes later I’ve noticed another charge of 53.95$ instead of the refund . I called again ( total of 6 times after the check out ) . The excuse was that she mistakenly charged me again instead of refund and that she’ll refund the last charge . I requested to talk to the manager as I’ve been super frustrated and nobody picked up the phone, so I left a voicemail.
It’s a very poor experience and customer service, unprofessional staff that make it unpleasant to consider staying not only at this AC Hotel Seattle by Marriott but at Marriott chain in general.
