I thought I would update my review after having dinner at the bar last week. The chicken sandwich tasted great but still has too much breading. They used a nice large oval plate for the sandwich but the fries were sparse (very few overlapped). They should get smaller plates or add more fries.

My biggest disappointment was to find out that their Old Fashioned is on tap. It was the first time that I didn’t receive a buzz from my first Old Fashioned of the night. I got a second one and agree that they taste good, but I don’t understand why the bar can’t make a drink. I don’t like that I can’t see it being made. It’s not beer and I’m not in college. I don’t know what’s actually in it. Plus, I can’t pick the whisky. They told me that it speeds up the process. McDonald’s sped up food orders but I don’t want to eat there. If they want to serve beer only then they should get rid of the liquor. Let your bartenders make drinks, teach them how to be bartenders, and have a real bar.

The bartenders do more running around, going behind the side wall and in the Kitchen then being bartenders. If you’re working a bar, you’re not supposed to leave the bar, ever. I’m not sure what’s going on in this place. I’m pretty sure that there were no bartenders for more time than they were behind the bar. When we needed something, we had to yell out and interrupt whatever they kept staring at down in the bar instead of looking up to see who needed what. Someone else brings out the food so I don’t know why they kept disappearing. I added a pic of my extra napkins. Instead of just giving me some napkins, I received another mug with utensils and 2 x napkins. If you’re going to serve a messy sandwich then people are going to need napkins. 2 napkins doesn’t work for most meals.

I’ll go back again but not for the Old Fashioned. I’ll have to ask what they will actually make in front of me. I didn’t realize that I should have asked. Pre-mixed drinks are a bait and switch in my mind. For the price we're paying, you can pay someone to make my drink fresh every time (like...

Let me start this off by saying

The food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing, so is and was many of the waitresses or waiters ive had since coming here regularly

Except this one waiter. He has an INCREDIBLY bad attitude. He gave us no silverware or napkins till after we got out food, and we had to ask another waitress for them (who was incredibly sweet) because he didnt visit our table for almost 10 minutes after we got our food. He came to our table when we arrived, stared at us for 10 long seconds… and then said “ can i see your ids..?” In a very awkward, audacious tone.

He maybe visited us a total of 4 times and never spoke to us unless we asked a question. Not a what can i get for you, or nothing, besides asking in a short tone what we want to drink

Ive probably wrote two bad reviews in my life, and always 4 stars for restaurants for the bare minimum, i understand bad days in food service, forgeting or making mistakes happens often, i also work in food service, so i know that a bad attitude is absolutely unforgivable, for either the waiters or the customers.

Nonetheless, great job in every other place, i am appreciative to dine here with my family and friends...

A solid experience. Nice greetings from front host staff. Easy to get your name on the wait list for a table as they take your cell number and text you when table is ready. Meanwhile, you can be perusing the shops nearby. Wait staff highly competent with a seamless integration of helping each other as well as the customers. Great atmosphere, sort of a modern take on 90s brasserie taverns. Fun for couples or groups, not really a kiddies place. And, the food: The guacamole was good, especially with the fun pomegranate seed garnish. The drinks, omg! A negroni just like mama used to make! And plenty of beers for all tastes. The wait person even had our order of fish and chips split for us (we didn't ask, we just mentioned we were sharing this meal). Very nice. But why only 4 stars? Well, we probably only got one tablespoon of actual fish beneath gobs and gobs of dark brown oily fried batter, batter that to me indicated maybe it was time to change the oil, or at least filter it. The fish of the fish and chips was a real disappointment after absolutely every other detail being great. So there's your 4 stars. Would I return? For sure! Probably would order something...

Surprisingly good food with prices on par with Bellevue mall area and the atmosphere of bar at a nightclub rather than a gastropub. It’s so loud but it’s just the music and people yelling over it. Other reviewers seem to like the loudness so if that isn’t you I’d skip. Had a variety of apps and food. All the food was good. Based on food alone I would return! I enjoyed the steelhead with salad, it was nice to have lighter and healthy options. The servers were excellent. The restaurant needs better communication though. the allergen labeling was non-existent. The servers have a cheat sheet but if you are going to use QR codes just update your website. Also happy hour seems to be only limited to certain bar spaces which is confusing. Had a larger group here and was given a corner of the bar as probably slightly last minute reservations. It would have been ideal had we been able to communicate by not yelling as the space was convenient for an informal dinner/mixer.

We went to Tavern for dinner, just wanted to try some burger and fries. The place is huge with ample amount of seating so no need to worry about reservations. It’s a self seating policy, so we chose our own seats. Soon after we sat one of the waiter came to get the order so we didn’t have to wait too long. Had 2 mocktail for drinks, but were good. Then Ordered crab and artichoke dip for appetizer. The dip was too pungent smell for our liking. The seafood smell was overpowering so didn’t finish the appetizer, was a disappointment! Then we tried chicken burger and beef burger for main course. It came with fries which was cooked well and fresh. I had the chicken burger and I loved it, patty was cooked fresh and tasted good but could have been a little bit more spicy. Finally had salted caramel cookie skillet, this dessert was bomb! The warm cookie on skillet with a slice of ice cream on top was divine! Highly recommend this dessert. Overall a good experience
