Our family ate here on July 23rd. It was a little disorganized. There didn't seem to be a set person seating people. We didn't wait very long for a table and the staff turned the tables over quickly. The staff didn't seem to have an effective way of serving. Our waters were regularly empty and it seems like they were trying a team approach instead of each person having a section, but ineffectively. I am still not quite sure what was going on there or if they were just understaffed. People were very friendly and nice and by no means was it a huge issue, it just is not somewhere I would bring someone on a date or for a special occasion. The appetizers took a little while. They were not great, but my kids liked them. The food was mostly okay. Our children's spaghetti and meatballs were not very good and neither ate it. I tried it myself to see if they were just being picky, but the spaghetti sauce kind of tasted like someone used a combination of tomato paste and diced tomatoes. All of the dishes had a massive amount of sauce and there was a lot on my plate after I finished the shrimp and ravioli. The lack of balance kind of threw off the dish for me. My husband agreed his dish was okay, but not amazing. We ordered a cheesecake to share after our meal. The cheesecake was probably the best part, but you could tell it had sat for a while and the crust was overly moist. The place seemed clean. The staff was friendly. My daughter was fascinated by the lighting and the pretend grapes hanging up on the ceiling. It was an okay visit, but I don't think we'll ever go back.

We came in tonight to give Luigi's a try. We ordered the Lobster Ravioli, Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, a large pizza and an order of spaghetti with meatballs. First the good. The atmosphere was nice. The wait was staff friendly and efficient. The food tasted very good. Now for the bad. The Lobster Ravioli was disappointing due to the portion and serving size. There were only 5 medium size ravioli covered in a large amount of sauce for $13.95. They could've at least included some other additional type of pasta to fill out the meal. It is not worth $13.95. The Fettuccine was also a smaller than expected portion for $13.95. No real complaints about the pizza but the crust isn't what I would describe as New York Style. It is similar to Papa Murphy's take and bake pizza crust. As for the spaghetti, that is waiting for a member of our family to come home from work to try. So if I were to grade the food on flavor I'd say 4.5 stars. Service was very good as well but portion size compared to cost on at least two of the dishes I'd give only 2 stars. That is the reason for a 3 star combined rating. Would I go back? Probably to try something for lunch like stromboli or calzone but probably not for supper as we find Roma's in Bellevue to be a better value for supper.

Ah-may-ZING!! The atmosphere is so quaint, beautifully decorated yet simplistic. A soft ambiance but you can see very well still! I believe our server was Rina. I hope I didn't annihilate her name. We decided we wanted to try our favorites from "Italian" restaurants around the area. Obviously they smoked them out of the water! Mozzarella Frita was so smooth, perfect crisp, amazing stretch on a marinara bed I haven't enjoyed this much since my father was alive. Fettuccine Alfredo which was FINALLY authentic. If you want some Olive Garden style Alfredo, you haven't enjoyed real Alfredo. Lasagna, manicotti, beef ravioli and cheese ravioli were equally the rave!! Lemoncello cake that was the perfect combination of tart, sweet, soft, smooth, creamy and just heaven. But my favorite part of all...the cannolis. Oh, my, word!! We had a table full of food that was to die for. Between the amazing price, amazing people, amazing atmosphere and amazing food...we don't know which was the best. We'll be back for sure

Luigi's is a well kept secret for Bellevue / Omaha for an authentic Italian restaurant 😋 . I hope people reading the Google reviews do check out Luigi's as it's worth the short drive into Old T Town Bellevue for sure.

6P arrival party of 4 note Luigi's does operate on first come first seated basis👍 we had a less than 10 minutes wait there is a bar available for beverages while you have a short wait and seating for your very short wait time.

Our Waitress was very pleasant & greeted our party and offered beverage service right away and suggested several appetizer options that were served promptly and Hot & Tasty.

House Salad was very fresh + crisp ! Hot & Fresh from Luigi's ovens dinner rolls when salad's were served.

Authentic Entree's our party ordered: Classic Lasagna Linguine Pescatore Original Chicken Parmigiana Shrimp Scampi

All meals were generous portions and served Hot !

We were thrilled with Luigi's service and all entree's items were served fresh / tasty.

Waitress promptly offered to-go containers and our receipt. Thanked us for coming to Luigi's and sincerely invited us to come back and try additional items they offer.

There are several Luigi's desserts offered all looked awesome... and we'll try them on our next visit. Tiramisu Limoncello Cake Cannoli

We will be back 100% for sure, we drove from SW Omaha to Bellevue and it was...

This was Original post from November 2020.

Luigis was very good! Great atmosphere, polite staff, great portion sizes. The flavor of our entrees were pretty spot on. Our son said his pizza was average. The husband and I got the Chicken Parmigiana. We enjoyed our experience! We will be back!

March 12, 2012

We ate here before and it was superb. Better than the other competitor in town. This time my Alfredo sauce was runny. The flavor was not bad, but it made me queasy because it was so runny. Also, I don't know if the restaurant doesn't believe in pineapples should go on pizza because we ordered a Large Hawaiian and it did not come with Pineapple, sadly. The calamari and Pesto alla Genovese with Veal was so delicious. My husband enjoyed it and was gracious enough to give me a bite. The only thing I ended up eating aside from the calamari was my chicken parmigiana in the Tour of Italy because the lasagna was really salty. It's pretty disappointing that we spent as much as we did and really my husband was the only one happy with his meal. Pics posted. You can see how thin and runny my Alfredo was...it was so thin it had bubbles! And the pizza...no pineapple anywhere. Even lifted the cheese topping thinking maybe it would be underneath, but nope. Really disappointed this...
