Overall super disappointing. I will say that the staff (Jamie) was SUPER friendly, the restaurant was clean with nice American Legion decor and memorabilia, and the drinks were nice (and well priced!). A lot of the food, you could tell came straight out of a can or freezer bag. The other big take away, if you skip everything else, was that all of the food SERIOUSLY lacked seasoning. Before I begin, I will also note that she mentioned they are more known for their wings which we did not get as we had already gotten wings earlier in the day. As long as they have a good wing and good sauce, these would probably be difficult to go wrong with. My mom, not a picky eater at all, couldn't finish her taco night American style tacos. I took 1 bite of the taco meat and I'm really not trying to be mean, but it tasted like dog food with little to no salt or any other seasoning to be found. The French fries were crinkle cut frozen fries with no seasoning. The tots tasted like every other tot in town (which is fine I guess?). The fried mushrooms were fine but those are hard to mess up. The street tacos (also a taco night specia) were saved by the sauce but were otherwise devoid of any salt or seasoning and were covered under a MOUNTAIN of cilantro. I love cilantro but i could have made 6 more tacos with just the cilantro that I removed. They were fine, but definitely not good. The refried beans were 100% straight out of a can. Last, my wife (also not a picky person), said her burger was also devoid of salt or seasoning. She doesn't even like that much salt on her food but it was COMPLETELY missing from the equation. The burger itself was also cooked into oblivion. The pickles and bun (nicely toasted brioche) were the best parts and the lettuce and tomato were good. Constructive Criticism for Restaurant Owners: Moran's would probably do better ordering from a proper food distributor like Cisco than from Sam's Club or Costco (what I suspect they're currently doing). Coming from a restaurant background, I suspect this would be more cost effective for them as well. Even going the extra mile to make things like their own refried beans and fries would be a huge improvement in both their finances and the flavor. Get a nice dicer from restaurant supply, chop a ton of potatoes, throw them in a few buckets of water and put them in the walk-in overnight. Strain them in the morning, portion them out into portioning bags or portion at time of frying. Pinch a little salt after frying or make a basic french fry seasoning (garlic powder, onion powder, salt, some other herb). Do a trial run and offer them as fresh house cut fries and see what people like better. Burgers? Form the patty, season both sides, let it cook 3/4 on 1 side before flipping and let it finish on the other (don't touch it other than flipping it once). Use a thermaworks digital thermometer if you must. Just don't overthink it, don't fiddle with it, and don't throw canned ingredients on top of the burger (as other reviewers have mentioned). These are some basics I learned in culinary school.

We made the trek from Lincoln again and my husband asked where I wanted to eat. I remembered all the pics I had saved of the fish and chips from Moran's Grill during Lent. I was in a fried food sort of mood... We started with the Fried Pickle Spears app. I have a love/hate relationship with these in general cuz they usually get soggy so quick. These hand breaded spears totally held up! Super crunchy til the end. They have a rather extensive menu and my husband was having a hard time deciding. I would have bet he'd go for the Pork Tenderloin Sandwich but he chose the Nashville Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich instead. He said the sauce was different from what he's used to but still good. The chicken was juicy and all the toppings and bun were fresh. It disappeared pretty fast. I got the Fish I came here for. It seriously looks like fried chicken but it was definitely cod. Also hand battered it was so crispy and the tartar complemented it well. They have those fat crinkle fries which are not my thing but I wanted to try the onion rings anyways. They were also fatty but super sweet onions and seasoned well. Very yummy! I had intended on getting a Margarita Flight but learned it was Bartender's Choice and 2 of the 4 designated flavors did not appeal to me. Got a Cucumber Marg instead. Loved it! This place is huge and seems to have a popular patio. They were well staffed, our server Tracy did a great job! Also have a salad bar which I could totally get down with. I bet we'll be back for that Pork Tenderloin for him and a Margarita Flight for me!

I have to say the stars were cause the food was objectively a 7/10, the ambiance can be the diffrence from a 4 and a 5 star review but does not make up for bad service.

I went to the restaurant to get a to-go order and cause I wanted to be out in public I decided to dine in after I made my order. The lady who checked me out was a sweet very top teir waitress with a beaut smile. I paid 25 after tax and tips for two orders of five count wings.

The fries were good and the wings were bussin. I was given two things of ranch I sat at my table and I was given two things full of ranch that I used on the fries. The difference with the wings here instead of any other place is on top of being fried they’re charred. The char taste is good but can be a little overpowering on the garlic Parmesan wings.

I asked the bar tender maybe manager to get a 2 oz cup of ranch and she wanted to charge me 50 cents for it. At nearly let’s say 1.75 a wing that had an overpowering flavor to charge me 50 cents for a ranch packet after I tipped a worker and paid so much for food is petty and dumb to charge me for that. My parents tried Moran’s a little over a year ago when my neighbor told my mom about her friend that opened a restaurant called Moran’s grill. With my past experience of this restruant was so good when I went their with family members. I went alone this time so I could have a personal experience, if this experience would have scored a 9/10 I would buy a shirt that I normally wear once a week on avg and recommend them to friends.

After this experience I don’t think I even want to go back unless a parent is having a group meal there. You may be reading this and be asking, “all this for a ranch cup?” I answer that with the following, applebees doesn’t charge you for a ranch cup, neither does many other restaurants you go to. If they want 50 cents for a ranch cup that what else do they charge people for. I dont and wouldnt support a business in general let alone with the shirt on my back if they’re going to penny pinch...

Slowly going downhill.

We were faithful customers when they were in Papillion. We were very excited to see them move to Bellevue as it is closer to us however, every time we go, it gets worse. Wait times have been longer and longer. They say they’re low staffed, so we understood…to a point.

Yesterday we went for dinner. We were sat quickly, drinks came quickly, order was taken quickly. It was looking like a good night out. But after 30 minutes of waiting for our food, I asked our waitress and she said she would go check on it and come back.

15 more minutes go by, so 45 minutes have passed since we ordered. Our waitress kept dodging our table after calling her over twice. I finally asked for the manager.

By this point it had been 50 minutes. The manager came over and I explained we had been waiting for 50 minutes for our food and the tables around us that came in after us, had already received their food. Instead of apologizing or asking if she could check on the status, her response was “I heard, your waitress told me.” Nothing more was said, so I asked to cancel our order.

We ordered: 1 kids lemonade 1 kids water 2 regular waters 1 margarita 2 orders of 10 wings 1 order of fries 1 kid meal (chicken and fries)

After waiting 50 minutes for food, cancelling our order. I was told we have to pay for the margarita. It upset me as maybe 1/4 of the margarita was gone (that says a lot since most of it was ice that melted). As I was waiting for our food to drink it with my wings. I would have thought it should have been comped since we waited so long without any resolution or apology.

So after everything, we won’t be returning. Truly think they bit off more than they can handle moving to that big...
