Denny's — Restaurant in Bellflower

If you want to wait on yourself you'd get better service somewhere else. From the time we entered the restaurant there was a waitress who greeted my family l, friends and my children, but it was an aggressive hello. She was loud and obnoxious to which she even complained in her native language that she was the only worker there and she was by herself... GREAT EXCUSE, but it isn't my problem to hear about your work flow problems. She asked where we would like to sit and she handed us menus and said sit wherever. 😱😱😱 thats horrible customer service and I should have walked out right then but I ignored the poor customer service trying to still enjoy my weekend. I was there on August 5 from 10 to 1130am and I will never go back there again!!! So the waitress comes up to our table and is super loud asking if we were ready to order, but we just sat down and she expected us to know after listening to her on the line well and complain to anyone that would lend an ear waiting for the orders to be completed. During this time she talked about the problems working alone as though she wanted pity from someone. Unfortunately that is not what your are going to get with me. 15 minutes went by and she finally came back to take our order. But when she opened her mouth, complaints about having to do things by herself flowed through the tip of her tongue for a couple of minutes. Again I ignored this restaurants issues and tried to have a good time, but that was short lived. This waitress brought our food out in segments. My order, which is the photo of the plate attached to this post,was filled with oil so every bite it was as though I took a shot of oil. To top this plates issue she automatically assumed I wanted chorizo, but I hate chorizo and told her the protein I wanted. However, I couldn't even eat the plate of food due to my medical condition. I couldn't believe the service let alone the food my friend was getting mad because all you heard in that place was the server pitching and complaining about being the only person working. I honestly had enough and I was still hungry. I couldnt even drink my coffee because there was left over lipstick on my mine and my friends coffee mug. Considering all the problems customers were having you would think she would have comped part of my bill for the horrible service I received, but nope full price and the custom tip of 18%. My bill was almost 115$ not including the tip. I was appalled but signed the check to which this server had the audacity to tell me 'God bless you'.

My word as advice and a cautionary statement, don't eat here because it was the worst service I have...

I come to this Denny's all the time on Lakewood blvd & it's my family favorite , but today my boyfriend an I came in , an we usually get seated right away but today seem kinda busy so we waited about 5 minutes which we didn't mind. An female waiters was originally suppose to seat us but an Hispanic guy help us which is no problem . He politely took us to are table an said a waiters will be right with us an walked away , my boyfriend an I followed him up to the counters an made a right because that was the way to the bathroom . I went in the ladies to wash my hands and he goes in the men , soon as I walk in I see a mirror so I started admiring myself an fixing my pants pulling them up I needed a belt , soon as I put my shirt down from FIXing my pants the Hispanic guy opens the door an wave. I then get upset so washed my hands an head out the bathroom of course I didn't use it so I'm out the bathroom before my boyfriend , an I demanded to speak to the manager so the young lady who originally suppose to seat us calls the manager which was him came an ask , "what can be he help me with an so I asked him why he came in the girl's bathroom an he said it's his job which I don't agree with because you don't wave at somebody when you just walked in with out knock or giving a heads up an I explained that to him an asked for his manger an they both told me she'll be in tomorrow morning . so I then ask for corporate number an he goes in the office an comes back out with nothing an ask us did we still wanted to eat there so I said no an I'll just Google...

It seems this dennys at Lakewood Blve and Artesia has gone downhill badly. I go inside and order 1 lumberjack breakfast and 2 apple crisps and 1 milk. I pay, I wait. I go inside sit and wait, a waitress asked if I placed a Togo order. I say yes and tell her what I ordered. This is 2am ok. She slides this bag to me and says here. I look inside and had to ask for butter and pancake syrup. She walks away, like were done, so I wait until I see her again and catch her attention. I said I'm still waiting on 2 apple crisps and a milk and told her while she's getting those I'll take this hot food to my man. I go back in and ask to get 1 Sprite and 1 water and the same waitress she hands me $3 & change from a $10 I look at the receipt and she charges me for a milk, Sprite & water. I'm still waiting for the apple crisps and milk from before. I asked her why she charged me for another milk when I already pd, oh I didn't think you paid and told me go get your receipt (I'm not going to mention I need lower back surgeory badly) long story short I had to make 4 trips back into the restaurant and pretty much be on top of this order and they forgot the toast and my man was sick so that's why I went in. But the last 3 times I'd been to that dennys has turned out to be miserable and I've been going to that dennys for over 20yrs. What a shame cause everything there usted to be 5 stars....
