Starbucks — Restaurant in Bellflower

First let me start off by saying I worked for Starbucks many moons ago when you use to have to pull shots from the machines and hand whisk bags of frap mix in to tubs of expresso since then I own my own salon in Long Beach and yesterday at 10am decided I was exhausted and needed a good ol cup of coffee to wake me up before work morning rush forgot my cards walked out with cash in my purse only when I walk up to the window cause like always yummy Starbucks drive Thur had a full length of cars waiting I order something for my little daughter and myself From the you can tell overwhelmed I don't know frustrated may be young lady at the walk up window I say that because she was either extremely cold or upset already cause her hands were crossed leaning her back against a counter staring at the at least 10 empty frap cups that need to be made while all the other women were doing there thing she proceeds to take my order time to pay it 19.55 she says ok hand her a 100 dollar bill and at that moment was the only one time she looked up at me to say "oh no we don't break 100 dollar bills and for a second there I thought to myself ok she's going to tell me I can go to the donut shop to try to break it maybe the grocery store suggest something or apologize and say I am sorry we can't break that bill it Sunday banks are closed we need our change something anything nope she just went back to leaning up against the counter I was in shock in all my life going to Starbucks working there owning my own business working with the public I walked away took a few steps not saying a word and walked back and said sorry what's your name then just then everyone looked up and out the window for a second all heads stop what they were doing looked at me she said Jenny I said thank you Jenny walked back to my car drove off to my shop and proceeded to go to the Barnes and Noble Starbucks right next to my shop at the Long Beach Town Center moral of the story is Jenny if your going to be the face of Starbucks and stand up at the walk up window ma check everything at the door before walking in to work I have a saying with my employees plz Ladies leave it at the door frame and don't come up to me while I am at work with a problem if you don't have a suggestion on how to fix it example I am working on a client stylist walks up there is a leak by the wash bowl Nya Jenny take note 📝 here's the kicker BUT I SEE YOUR BUSY I THREW DOME TOWELS ON IT OR I PICKED IT UP AND LEFT YOU YHE PLUMMERS NUMBER BY THE PHONE SUGGESTION THATS THE KEY just don't stand there with a shocked face when I ask your name better yet your young if you don't like your job quit it's...

Bad service, I got a caramel macchiato and they didn’t put drizzle on it. I was trying to be nice and ask for a side of caramel drizzle to do it myself and didn’t even complain about them not doing it. (It’s not the first time. Sometimes they said it sunk to the bottom. Yeah right. It sinks that fast when you don’t get the foam thick enough, but if that happens that means that barista can’t do lattes, and needs to get trained!) The lady at the register didn’t even know what I was talking about then ask someone else. She came back saying they need to charge for extra syrup because “it’s our syrup” she said. I told her how it’s not syrup I wanted, just drizzle and kept saying we charge for syrup 🤦🏻‍♀️. I just said it’s ok and left. This is a walk up window only location, there is no indoor or outdoor seating. There is a drive thru which is usually packed but quick. Please be aware that this location has heavy traffic of homeless/drug users. Most are friendly and relatively clean but there are a select few who like to think they’re on set filming a crime based movie. I’m going to say they’re harmless too, I mean really, will a scary guy/girl tell you they’re scary? I should mention this location is on an extremely busy corner and if coming south on Lakewood you’re able to turn in but north requires a u-turn or a left turn and left into the staterbros parking lot. I can say that this location usually gets my order correct, trust me that’s a huge feat with some other locations...
