Cruisin Coffee Lakeway — Restaurant in Bellingham

We ordered a mocha and a chai some time around 4 pm on 12/29/2022

The milk in the mocha was curdled. It’s like they steamed the milk too hot. And there’s no whipped cream. That’s standard for a mocha.

This isn’t the first time either. We order the same things every coffee stand we go. With occasional Red Bull drinks some days. This was bad. And this isn’t the only Cruisin we go to either.

The chai was so milky it was like they poured mostly milk and flavored it lightly with chai. And to make up for the lack of chai there is so much ice that by the time I got halfway through drinking it, it was mostly watered down. Gross.

I don’t even wanna go back. We’ve come here before…. The red Bull drinks are ok…. Never made consistently, but ok.

The girls that work during this mid-day shift seem super dismissive to us like they wish nobody would ever show up. Unless they seem to be some hot guy on the other side that has attracted their attention. Passively and subtly rude. I don’t understand. We order the simplest drinks on the menu and have never gotten them right. Literally only at this Cruisin Coffee on Lakeway.

I would love to not be paying for an over $8 coffee for something I could make better at home…… ya I could make it at home but in the middle of a work shift and there’s nowhere to do so, I’d like to not...

I have always had good experiences at Cruisin but had a rather condescending encounter recently at this location. I ordered 2 flavored redbulls with cream and whip, paid for them, then was handed two drinks without cream or whip. I asked for it to be added (it seemed the barista had not heard me when I ordered?) and she did add it before saying “this is a redbull Italian soda which is typically more expensive so make sure you let your barista know beforehand next time” with the most condescending tone I’ve heard as a customer anywhere. She seemed more annoyed than me, who DID ask for cream and whip! I work in food service so I get that it happens and she just didn’t hear me but to act like it’s my fault and to respond so rudely? Most likely will avoid this location...

Great Coffee but rude staff. Drinks were thrown at and almost fall on the counter by a barista female in glasses, just locked the window right after. Then the other barista seemed more courteous and gave us the cookie she forgot. The one with glasses didn’t say have a good day or thank you or anything just called out our drinks and they almost fell on the counter and shut the sliding window hard and locked it. Unfortunate because I have been going to this spot as a kid and I had a previous encounter with her before where she was crying but I thought she was just having a bad day. Recommend management to evaluate her performance as I work in Restaurant Management very disrespectful to be treated like this as a consumer as I don’t recall being rude to her...
