Denny's — Restaurant in Bellingham

7/1/2022 Need to drastically downgrade my rating from 3 to 1 for this franchise location for breakfast! (I would recommend going to the nearby Shari's, for best overall experience).

Ordered the "Built your own omelet", little on plate looked appealing when it was served. Not really a bad taste, but did leave a weird taste in my mouth. Service, as before, seemed uneven and rushed - the simplest things had to be specifically requested.

On my way out, had to go into their restroom to rinse my mouth out - it felt like I just finished a cheap bag of popcorn. ?????

5/10/2022 Worked for corporate office for Denny's at the beginning of my working experience, but the stores of today are a faint reflection of the stores of 40 years ago.

Sad!

Something as simple as ordering a cup of Earl Grey tea could not be handled. Instead of being advised that this restaurant did not have Earl Grey, I was bought a plain black tea.

Service was ok(!) - as were the items ordered, but when ready to leave, the check had not been delivered, had to go to the front counter and ask for it.

After a unsatisfactory experience at the remodeled Denny's in Mt Vernon last year, reluctance remain about Denny's being a first choice...

I used to be a customer every week at Shari's I had a sore leg from slipping on the ice in winter the manager at Shari's with his fist hit me on the leg and to this day I have knee issues I've been going you Dennys now and the staff is great and good food and their coffee is even better than last time I went there David if he ever get him as a waiter he's an awesome guy so this is where I go years ago I worked straight 4 2 days and I went to sleep at Denny's down-south my head I want to sleep in the booth and nobody woke me up for 6 hours a $50 tip I said I reordered food I paid for the food that was on the table that was cold so this is my story the manager at Shari's said no sleeping in the restaurant I had my foot up cuz I did major damage to my leg and he hid it so I've tried everything and they denied it even happened so I'm telling you you want good food you don't want to be attacked physically and you don't get judge for getting off work jacket on and you want to be treated like a human being with cash in your pocket go to...

Well, not sure what to say about my visit tonight went to a Sports bar Denny's in Bellingham second visit first was sub par but I always give a second visit just in case not so good this time either my toast was burnt under my pot roast so when I took my fourth bite of food all I tasted was burnt toast I was able to get a second cup of coffee after my meal was served only 15 minutes after I finished my first cup the waitress told me that she had tables in other room and it's so quiet in here that she forgotten about me lol wow really like didn't noticed was that an apology or an excuse the manager Melvin decided that changing the TV from football to the oj Simpson special and volume of it was better suited in a sports bar than football without even asking if it was ok or if I was watching it or not great management skills and the waitress was back with excuses about the disrespectful manger I will be filling a formal complaint with corporate even though this is a franchise...
