Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Bellingham

Do not bother trying to set a pickup time because they don't respect it. Scheduled my order for 4 pm, they send notice it's ready at 3:30.

I chose 4 pm because I knew my husband would not be able to get there any sooner than that, and I figured if it's ready at 4, than even if he is not there till 4:15 or so, it won't be that old.

Why have the option to schedule a pickup time if it's not respected??

Just change the option online to say Call to schedule later pickup time

Any reasonable person would assume that pickup at 4 would mean food is ready at 4pm NOT a half hour before.

Was looking forward to this as a treat for my family and now I'm just disappointed and wish I hadn't ordered from this place.

If I wanted pizza that just sat in a warmer forever I would have just gone to little Caesars.

A big shout out to Papa John's! I found one of their 'Easter eggs' (a branded beach ball) over Easter Weekend which won me a free large one topping pizza! We got the Italian Sausage, which was very flavorful. I'm generally not a red sauce fan (I much prefer white) so all I can really say is their red sauce was tomato-y and thankfully not excessive. Good coverage of cheese but the absolute best part was the hand tossed crust. Fluffy and consistently cooked- no hard or chewy spots. You could pick up a slice with one hand if necessary and eat it like you should be able to eat a pizza.... It doesn't droop, the toppings don't slide off and it's not dripping with grease. This place should be shut down. Ordered a pizza get a text saying it’s out for delivery, their status update online shows the order as canceled. So 15 minutes after the text saying it was out for deliver I called. The manager says sorry for the delay the driver is just now leaving it will be no longer then 10 mins. Totally understand. After 16 more minutes we call again... this time the person who answers says pizza will be there in 20 because he’s making other deliveries.... Ok so this pizza has been ready for 50 mins sitting in some dudes car and basically we don’t know when it will arrive.
