My experience was terrible, last night which was Saturday night around 835 pm I walked into Jersey Mikes and they were already closing up, I was surprised because online it said closing time was 9pm. I wanted to try it out again today to come in to very rude workers, 2 African American women, I was asking the one with the red dreads did she remember me from the night before and that I came there around 835pm but was advised that the restaurant was closing, she became rude and said that she wasn’t about to argue with a customer, I asked her why would she argue anyway when I was only having a calm conversation the cook then asked me what I wanted as far as food and she began to make my sub in the back instead of in the front visually therefore she had to remake my sub because I couldn’t see how she was preparing it, she left my bread toasting and walked to the back for no reason I assumed to spit on her hands or something so I left that location after she finished cooking my sub and went to S. Tryon location where I was greeted with great customer service and they remade my sub because I didn’t trust what the previous worker did when they walked to the back and it turned out delicious! I will never go back to the first location! I really appreciate the S.Tryon location, I have always received great...
Read moreThe cashier, manager and cook and all incompetent, ghetto and lack professionalism. I should’ve known from the pink long braids and the crusty snot looking gel on her edges that the manager was exactly what she displayed through her looks. It was busy and I made an online order and explained my sandwich was missing half of my toppings I paid extra for, before I could finish informing the snot crusted edged pink haired manage she went in a frenzy telling me I was wrong and even brought the cook from the back to “gang up” on me stating that he indeed put the toppings on my sandwich… well I put the bitten sandwich on counter and opened it up to show the ghetto circus that the toppings wasn’t present; no apologies or acknowledging it was a mishap which I would’ve been ok with them doing so and remaking the sandwich instead I got a gang of J.mikes employees being combative and making a spectacle out of a customer who contributes to the company being able to keep them on the clock. I’m thinking that this company gives anyone a manager title and a shirt without teaching them customer service and the foundation as to how customer...
Read moreThe shift lead on September 19th limited attention to serving customers. I purchased their special which included chips and a fountain drink, but their fountain drink machine was not functioning properly. She checked the syrup on the Pepsi, but not the carbonation level. The drink tasted terrible, and she refused to check the machine herself. The only option I was given was to purchase a bottled drink which was a different price. She got her manager on the phone to see what options were available to which none were offered. The reason I requested my order be refunded and recharged was because I tipped them on the first order and the shift lead intentionally did not share this with her manager. I agreed to purchase one of the drinks instead of the fountain. This goes to show how an employee who thinks they are right deliberately chooses to omit details when consulting with their manager. I knew all of this because I was next to her as she spoke to her manager over the phone and asked her to include the detail. She deliberately ignored. I'm sure her manager has no idea about this until she reads...
