Went to Taco John's tonight, per the request of my 7yo son, that had broken his wrist, and this was his treat for being so good. First off, the employees were not honest about the wait time (initially it was around 15 minutes). I had been waiting for 45 minutes when another guest walked into the lobby. I informed the guest that they were working on a "First come first serve basis" so they'd be waiting for every single car in the drive-thru and lobby guests to receive their food first, that were there prior to them placing their order, and I had been waiting for 45 minutes already, and still had not received anything other than my now watered down drink. I was then proceeded to be yelled at by an employee, and told I wasn't allowed to say those things to other guests. The other guests were excited I saved them such an extensive wait time, especially with my knowledge that they were not being truthful about how long it would actually be. I found the employee rude, as did two other people in my party. I would not recommend going here with the astronomical wait times for "fast food" nor the rudeness of some of the staff. 1 star Taco John's. You've significantly gone...
Read moreI never had Taco John's before and figured I try it now in Beloit. I regret that decision. I wish I can turn back time and look elsewhere for lunch. It was ridiculous. I ordered the street taco combo. There wasn't a long line but yet still had to wait a while for the food. I really thought it would be worth the wait. NOT! Barely any meat and the tortilla along with the meat was cold like they just wrapped up whatever they had in the cooler. So the long wait was unnecessary since they didn't heat up anything in the order. We were traveling and had a rough me frame so we couldn't go back and get a refund. I was so disappointed. You don't deserve a 1 Star rating but unfortunately I have to give it to you....
Read moreI like it that they finally got someone to work at this restaurant. In 2023 and 2024 I would not go to the store unless I was hungry and I really had to go there. I would usually try to make my way to Janesville on Milton Street to go to that taco John’s store because I was very satisfied with everything that came out out of that store now I see at the end of 2024. They have closed the Janesville store on Milton. Well now I have no choice but to eat at the taco John’s in Beloit Wisconsin so I went there the other day and it seemed to be stepping it up in the drive-through. I do not go inside because I do not want to mix company with anyone coming in with any type of sickness so I always go to the...
