I love Thai food and had high hopes for this restaurant based on the reviews but was extremely disappointed. Thai tea was great. I had the panang curry and I should have known it was not going to be great when I was not asked the spice level. Flavor was ok but felt that something was missing, no spice, but more on the salty side. Cashew chicken was more like a sweet and sour chicken. Beef pho was a disaster. There was so much noodles in the bowl that it soaked up majority of the broth. Beef was dry and seemed like old meat. I ordered sticky rice and for $3 a serving (we ordered 3), it was frustrating to have old rice. (I grew up eating sticky rice so I know that's not what sticky rice was supposed to be like- there were chunks that was hard and slightly discolored).
It took a long time for food to arrive. Two out of the 4 arrived first (without the order of sticky rice). We were trying to wait till all of the meals arrived so we can eat together and was also waiting on our rice so we can eat with the meal. But it seemed to take awhile for the other 2 entrées to arrive, so they went ahead and started eating. They were almost done with their meal by the time the other 2 entrées arrived, still without the rice. Still waited 5-10 minutes more after the last 2 entrées arrived at the table.
So overall, food was not worth it, especially for the service and price. I would not be returning. The only thing I would recommend would be the thai tea. I left hungry and actually went and got food elsewhere right...

The Food here was pretty good over all. Quite enjoyable!
The eggplant tower was a surprise and a treat! I loved how this was prepared and presented. The flavor was sweet, salty and savory. The Thai basil really pulled through helping balance this dish with a little freshness. The eggplant was fried perfectly and the veggies were perfectly cooked.
The pork belly was rich, sweet and delicious. Nothing was over or under cooked. All the veggies had that nice snap to them that most of us enjoy in our food. The pork belly was cooked to the point where the fat was perfectly rendered just melted when you bit into it.
The green curry with shrimp was delicious. That coconut milk really pulled through and the shrimp was perfectly cooked.
The papayas salad was ok. Definitely have had better but it was still good. This one doesn't not come out spicy it was more sweet than anything and the flavors were not balanced like the rest of the ones I have eaten. It needed more lime and some heat to help cut back on all the sugar. But still enjoyable.
The staff was great, quick and attentive. Very helpful and very respectful. Overall a great job...

"Evidence indicates that our preference for variety is hardwired into our brains. Research in Psychiatry and Neuroscience shows that the brain releases a chemical called dopamine whenever a novel stimulus" is experience this includes experiencing a NEW MEAL. The release of dopamine can be quite pleasurable.
With that said, instead of visiting your "favorite" resturant, ordering thr same old thing, try the EXQUISITE Thai Cuisine here!!! And try something new! The food must be prepared with the utmost attention to deal and with the best ingredients. I am also sure the food is made to order so you may wait a little longer than at chain restaurants. Hint: Order spring roll for an appetizer.
The resturant is located in old downtown Belton and is beautifully decorated. The food and location resulted in the feeling of being on an episode of Triple D (Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives); I was waiting for Guy to come interview me. Since he was not there during my visit, I had to share with google readers and amateur food...
